When Han Sen returned to the seaside, Queen was grilling fish over a fire. Although it was just a bunch of vines and shrubs, it looked like it could withstand the heat.
There were a few swords next to the fire, and the meat was already golden brown. The oil was sizzling, and the smell of the meat wafted into his nose. Han Sen smiled and asked, "Are these for me?"
"What for you?
I just want to eat them after they're all cooked, "the Empress said with a cold expression.
"Can I eat them?" Han Sen asked.
"Up to you." Queen didn't look at Han Sen. She just stared at the meat in her hands.
Han Sen smiled, picked up a piece of barbecued meat, and took a bite. The pain made him grimace, but it was delicious. It was much better than raw fish.
"Where is your little fox?" Queen asked, watching Han Sen gobble down the meat. Her expression softened.
"I took it back," Han Sen said with a blink.
"Really?"
Queen looked at Han Sen. She didn't believe Han Sen, and she said, "Summon it so we can eat it together."
"It's fine. It's just a pet. Don't worry about it."
Han Sen knew Queen must have noticed something when the little fox was healing her, but Han Sen wouldn't admit it.
"Oh." Queen didn't ask any more questions and continued to grill her meat.
Han Sen ate seven or eight pieces of meat, and his stomach was bloated. He lay down on the ground and sighed. "This is so good."
Queen ate a few pieces, too. She put away her beast soul swords, got up, and walked into the mountains.
"Where are you going?" Han Sen quickly sat up and asked. He was afraid Queen might discover the little fox and the lotus.
"I'm just going for a walk," Queen said, and then walked into the mountains.
"I'll go with you."
Han Sen quickly got up and thought to himself, "I can't hide from Little Fox if she doesn't come back."
The positions of the little fox and the lotus were too eye-catching. When they reached the top of a small hill, Queen saw them from afar. She turned around and looked at Han Sen. Then, she lifted her lips in a cocky smile. Then, she went up the hill.
"What is this?" Queen asked, pointing at the lotus. She came to the Silver Fox and pointed at the lotus.
"I don't know. After it found this thing, it refused to leave," Han Sen said.
Queen looked at the lotus, but she didn't say anything. She just sat down and rested.
The next morning, Queen asked Han Sen, "Are you going?"
"If it doesn't go, then I can't. Why don't you go first?" Han Sen blinked his eyes.
"You can split it in half." Queen squinted her eyes and looked at him. She didn't look like she was going to leave.
"What do you mean half?
It's a pet. Do you want to fight for food with your pet? "Han Sen was crying in his heart, but he pretended to be shocked.
"If it eats it, I don't want it. But if you take it, I want half," Queen said coldly.
"Why would I want it? It's the silver fox that wants it. I'm not a pet. Why would I want it?" Han Sen said, but he felt depressed.
Queen didn't say anything more. She stayed on the hill and guarded the lotus with the Silver Fox.
"If there was only one silver fox guarding the lotus, I would have had a chance. But now, there are two. It will be even harder to get the lotus."
Han Sen thought the Silver Fox was a female. Otherwise, why would it behave like Queen? It was like a miser.
Han Sen didn't think he was even more of a miser than the Silver Fox and Queen.
Han Sen stood guard on the island for four days. The petals of the white lotus started to wilt, but it was slow. Only one or two petals fell each day. With so many petals, it was hard to tell how many days it would take for them to wilt completely.
The lotus seed pod inside was slowly growing, and the blood-crystal-like lotus seeds were becoming more and more plump. A strange aroma was coming out of it. Just smelling that aroma was enough to make one feel refreshed.
"This must be some good stuff. How can I get all the seeds from Little Silver and Queen?" Han Sen observed the lotus every day, and he thought to himself, "This must be something good. How can I get all the seeds from Little Silver and Queen?"
Han Sen didn't know if he could beat the two of them. If he could, he would have just taken the seeds.
After half a month, the petals finally wilted. The lotus seed was as big as a jade plate, and the red crystal lotus seeds were round. They looked like rubies the size of pigeon eggs. They were very attractive.
Before Han Sen could think of a way to get all the lotus seeds for himself, he heard a bird chirp. It was a big bird that was green and blue. It looked like a peacock, and it was circling in the sky. It seemed to be afraid of Han Sen and the others, so it didn't come down immediately.
The silver fox became nervous. It stood up and looked at the peacock in the sky, as if it was facing a great enemy.
Han Sen and Queen were shocked, too. If it could ignore the presence of the Silver Fox, it could only be a super creature. They knew that, so they didn't look too happy.
The peacock circled in the sky, but it didn't come down. It didn't leave, either, and it seemed to be waiting for the lotus seeds to mature.
"Where did this weird bird come from?
Why is there something like this in the sea? "
He thought his opponents would only be Queen and Little Silver. If that had been the case, he would have had a better chance of getting a share of the loot.
But now that there was a super creature, it was hard to say what would happen. Perhaps the two of them combined might not be able to defeat an adult super creature, even if they were to fight it together.
While Han Sen was feeling depressed, he suddenly heard strange noises coming from the sea. He saw the sea in the distance churning and splashing. There was a giant lobster that was ten meters long, and it was wearing purple armor. It was swimming around the island, but it didn't get close to the island.
"Sh * t! Another one? How many super creatures are eyeing the lotus seeds?" Han Sen was speechless. He was afraid another super creature would pop up out of nowhere.
Fortunately, that didn't happen. Aside from the peacock and the lobster, no other creatures appeared. But now, one of them had taken over the sea, and the other had taken over the sky. Even if Han Sen wanted to leave, he wouldn't be able to.
"Let's fall back. If we get surrounded, we won't be able to fight them," Queen said calmly.
"Silver fox, come here."
Han Sen shouted at the Silver Fox. He was afraid the silver fox would stay here and be attacked by two super creatures. If that happened, even the silver fox would be killed.
