Fortunately, although the Silver Fox looked reluctant, it still jumped into Han Sen's arms.
Han Sen let out a long sigh of relief. Holding the silver fox in his arms, he and Queen left the mountain. They did not dare get too close to the sea, though, so they found a place to hide.
After Han Sen left, the peacock-like bird descended from the sky.
As for the lobster, it quickly crawled out of the sea with its claws. It flipped over the hills and rushed towards the peak where the lotus pod was.
A fight was about to break out. The peacock looked at the lotus and knew it was not yet ripe, so it did not eat it. Instead, it turned around and screamed at the lobster.
The lobster waved its claws and went for the peacock. Its speed was amazing, and its large body did not hinder its movement.
The peacock spread its wings and flew into the air. The peacock feathers on its back opened up and turned into a fan-shaped screen. The green feather fan seemed to have blue pupils that emitted a strange blue halo.
The blue eyes glowed with a blue light. When Han Sen looked at them, he felt dizzy. It was as if he was going to faint at any moment.
"Don't look at the blue light," Queen said.
Her eyes were closed, and her body was shimmering with a purple light. She had unlocked her gene lock.
Han Sen put his hand over the silver fox's eyes and closed his own as well. But the blue light continued to penetrate his eyelids and into his eyes.
Han Sen quickly turned around and hid behind a rock. He felt much better.
Queen hid behind the rock, and neither of them dared to open their eyes. They could only listen to what was going on outside.
Han Sen used Jadeskin to unlock his gene lock. Although he did not need to look, he could still see what was going on outside.
The giant lobster looked drunk under the blue light of the peacock's feather. The peacock took the opportunity to peck at the lobster.
But the lobster's shell was unbelievably hard. The peacock's peck only left a white mark.
Han Sen was frozen. The bird and the lobster were fighting. Although the lobster was at a disadvantage, its shell was so hard that the peacock could not do anything to it.
The blue eyes on the peacock's feather feather emitted a blue light that made the lobster dizzy. It could not use its full power, and neither could do anything to the other.
But the peacock had the advantage. The lobster was dizzy, and if the lotus was ripe, the peacock would be able to take it.
"What do we do?" Han Sen said to himself.
"There is nothing we can do," Queen said. "The blue light of the peacock feathers has the power to make us dizzy. Even if we closed our eyes, we would not be able to block the light. If we closed our eyes, we would not be able to see anything. If we relied on our hearing, we would not be able to fight those two creatures."
Han Sen did not speak, but his nose suddenly smelled a pleasant fragrance. It was coming from the lotus.
The red light on the lotus was like a red mist. The fragrance was very strong, and even though they were so far away, they could still smell it.
"The lotus is about to ripen."
Han Sen observed the fight between the peacock and the lobster, hoping to find a chance to get the lotus seed. If he waited until it was ripe, it would be too late. Regardless of whether it was the peacock or the lobster, the lotus seed was too small for them. They could eat it in one gulp, and it wasn't even enough to fill the gaps between their teeth.
The Silver Fox was in Han Sen's arms, and it looked as if it wanted to go and take the lotus. But when it opened its eyes, it fell back into Han Sen's arms. It looked as if it could not withstand the light of the peacock.
While he was debating whether or not he should go, he suddenly felt as if something was wrong. It was as if something was coming from the other side of the sea.
"Are more super creatures coming?" Han Sen was shocked. He used his senses and looked to the sea.
Han Sen was shocked by what he saw. Creatures were all around the island, trying to get onto it. There were many creatures that Han Sen did not recognize, and many of them were creatures that he had never seen before.
Hordes of creatures were coming to the island, and they were all going for the lotus.
"Holy sh * t! What is this lotus? The smell is so attractive that the creatures are no longer afraid of the Silver Fox. They don't care about the presence of the two super creatures, and they want to come and take it."
Han Sen was frozen. He could not imagine what kind of temptation it had to be for ordinary creatures to have the courage to come to the island.
In the sky, a flock of seabirds and flying beasts appeared. They were not afraid of the lotus, and they ignored the presence of the two super creatures.
But when they entered the range of the peacock's light, they were all knocked out. Ordinary creatures could not withstand the power of the light.
More and more creatures came to the mountain, but more and more died. Some were knocked out by the light, while others were injured by the lobster and the peacock. Soon, the mountain was filled with corpses and blood, and the nearby mountains were dyed red.
"Let's go. It's too dangerous here," Queen said, and then she stood up and started to leave.
Han Sen saw that the lotus was about to ripen, and he didn't want to leave just yet. He hesitated for a moment, then gave the silver fox to Queen and said, "Take him and leave this place. I will take a look."
But the silver fox leapt out of Han Sen's arms. It didn't seem to want to leave, though, and its body swayed left and right as if it was drunk. It looked just like the lobster.
Although the dazzling light couldn't really hurt it, it couldn't use its power to snatch the blood crystal lotus seed.
"You go first. When I get the lotus seed, I will share it with you," Han Sen said to the Silver Fox.
But the Silver Fox did not seem to understand, and it did not want to leave. It still wanted to go for the lotus seed.
Han Sen grabbed the silver fox and pulled it back. Clearly, the silver fox was just like the rest of the creatures. It was tempted by the lotus seed's aroma, and it wanted to steal it as well.
The peacock and the lobster were crazy, too. Every creature that came near the mountain was killed. They fought with each other, but it was difficult to determine a winner.
Suddenly, eighteen red lights came out of the lotus, and they bloomed in the air like a lotus. The aroma filled the entire sea, and the creatures nearby rushed to the island even more.
The lotus seed had matured!
