Han Sen was confused, but the man was dead. His lifeforce was gone, so there was no way he could tell Han Sen anything.
Thinking of the man pointing at his pocket, Han Sen quickly reached into the man's pocket. Perhaps he would find something there.
The battle suit was made of special materials. Unless it was subjected to an extremely strong external force, ordinary wind and sun would not be able to cause it to decay. The battle suit would still be in good condition.
Han Sen reached into the pocket, and there was something there. It felt like leather, but it was soft. He couldn't tell what kind of leather it was.
He took it out, and it was indeed a piece of leather. It was about two feet wide, but he couldn't tell what kind of animal it was. It had become waxy yellow after being treated, and there were many blood-red words written on it. On the leftmost side of the leather, there was a picture of a blood beast connected head to tail. It was clearly the picture of the Nine-Life Cat.
On the right side of the leather, there was a row of big words. It said, "Blood-Pulse Sutra."
"Blood-Pulse Sutra from Blood Legion?"
Han Sen was surprised. The Blood-Pulse Sutra was the foundation of Blood Legion, and it recorded the teachings and myths of Blood Legion.
When Blood Legion was declared a cult, the Blood-Pulse Sutra was banned. Now, most people only knew of its existence, but not many had actually read it.
Han Sen was disappointed. The Blood-Pulse Sutra was just a religious book, and he didn't want to believe in Blood Legion. So, there was no point in having it.
Han Sen didn't understand why the man was pointing at the Blood-Pulse Sutra in his pocket before he died.
"Was he a fanatic?" Han Sen guessed. He took a look at the Blood-Pulse Sutra.
But when he looked at it, his eyes opened wide in shock. It wasn't a religious book; it was a Qi Gong.
Although Han Sen had only seen part of it, he could tell it was a very mysterious Qi Gong. It was as good as Jadeskin.
But Han Sen only took a few glances at it. It was just a practice manual, and there was nothing else. So, he carefully put it away.
Now was not the time to be looking at such things. After he put away the leather, he searched the man's body again, but he couldn't find anything else useful.
The little angel was still fighting the fairy, and it looked as if it would be difficult to determine a winner. After a moment of thought, Han Sen dug a hole in the ice wall and placed the man inside. He then sealed the hole with ice.
It was a desert outside, and if he took the body with him, it wouldn't take long for it to turn into a skeleton.
Han Sen thought about telling Qin Xuan if he had the chance. She wanted the Qin family to come and see if the man was an elder of the Qin family, and if he was Qin Huaizhen.
After burying the man, Han Sen turned his attention back to the battlefield. The little angel's greatsword was very strong, but the fairy was not weak, either. Her small body unleashed a scary amount of power. Ice and snow danced in the air, and when they clashed with the little angel's greatsword, they created beautiful snowflakes.
Han Sen raised his peacock crossbow and fired two more arrows at the fairy, but they were useless. She was too fast, and she was able to dodge the arrows with ease.
But Han Sen noticed that although the fairy was fast and strong, her main attack was still ice. If the ice couldn't hurt people, then she couldn't do anything to the little angel.
Han Sen saw that the peacock crossbow was useless, so he summoned his Flaming Rex Spike. This was the only thing that stood a chance against the fairy. If he struck her while she was distracted, he might be able to hurt her.
Han Sen stared at the fairy, and he used his Dongxuan Sutra to open his gene lock. He observed the fairy's energy flow.
Her body had a clear energy flow, and it wasn't chaotic. She was a second-generation super creature, and it made Han Sen's heart itch. He wanted to kill her and absorb her Life Geno essence.
But the fairy was very cute, and he didn't want to kill her.
The little angel wasn't in the mood to go easy on her. She kept swinging her greatsword, and she fought the fairy again and again.
As Han Sen simulated the fairy's energy flow, he observed her every move. He hoped to predict her movements and catch her off guard. That way, he might be able to kill her.
After an hour, he was able to simulate Little Fairy's energy flow. He tried it out, and his own energy became like ice. It was a pure, cold power.
But Han Sen couldn't use the ice energy like the fairy did. He had to use his body to make contact with his opponent.
After watching for a while, Han Sen found an opportunity. When the fairy was struck by the little angel's greatsword, Han Sen used his Flaming Rex Spike to strike her.
His flesh trumpeted like a hundred elephants, and an endless amount of power surged into the rex spike. It turned into a flaming whip that whipped the fairy in the air.
The fairy's small body was sent flying like a rubber ball. Her body wasn't burning, though. Her ice energy was able to resist the Flaming Rex Spike's fire.
Pang!
The fairy's body hit the ice, creating a big hole in it. Not long after, the fairy angrily flew out of the hole.
The fairy seemed to hate Han Sen a lot. She flapped her wings and turned into a stream of water, heading straight for Han Sen.
Han Sen turned around and ran. He had used his strongest Elephant-Rex Strike, but even so, he hadn't been able to hurt the fairy. Now that his body was weak, he couldn't fight the fairy.
Little Angel stepped in and blocked the fairy. Han Sen took the silver fox with him and ran away without looking back. There was no point in staying, so he decided to think of a way to heal himself before he came back to fight her.
Fortunately, the little angel was there, so the fairy couldn't catch up to Han Sen. She could only watch as Han Sen ran into the bamboo forest.
But the fairy didn't give up. She dodged the little angel's attacks and chased after Han Sen. She didn't look like she was going to give up.
Han Sen kept running until he reached the place he had first entered. There, he saw the twin-tailed scorpion feasting on bamboo and dark silkworms.
"Why am I so unlucky this time?" Han Sen thought to himself.
