As Han Sen was thinking, he heard a woman's laughter. He couldn't tell where it was coming from.
"Is a human here?
Or is it a spirit? "Han Sen looked around, but there was no one around.
Not to mention people, there was not even a single creature to be seen. Because the fruit was about to mature, most of the creatures had already rushed to Empty Island and would not linger there.
"Moment, did you hear a woman's laughter?" Han Sen asked Moment Queen.
Moment Queen shook her head and said, "There is no woman's laughter."
"Am I hallucinating?"
While Han Sen was confused, he heard a woman's laughter. It was as clear as a bell, and Han Sen was sure he wasn't hallucinating. The laughter was real.
"You really didn't hear it?" Han Sen asked Moment Queen.
Moment Queen frowned and shook her head. She looked around, but she couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.
"Little Silver, did you hear something?"
Han Sen asked Little Silver, who was perched on his shoulder. Little Silver looked at Han Sen blankly, as if he hadn't heard anything, either.
"That's weird. I heard a woman's laughter." Han Sen thought it was strange, but he kept an eye out for the source of the laughter.
Han Sen continued to climb the vines, and not long after, he heard the laughter again. Moment Queen and the silver fox were still oblivious to what was happening.
Han Sen used his dongxuan aura to scan the area, but he couldn't detect any creatures nearby.
As he climbed, the bell-like laughter kept ringing in his ears. He tried his best to find the source of the laughter, but it was all for naught. He couldn't find the source of the laughter.
"This is weird." Han Sen couldn't find the source of the laughter, so he ignored it and continued to climb.
Empty Island was much bigger than Han Sen had expected. It was like a continent floating in the clouds. Han Sen followed the vines to the top of the island, and all he could see was a barren mountain. There wasn't even a single plant to be seen.
"Let me return to the Sea of Soul first. I don't want to draw the Devil-Blood King's attention. You go alone, and try not to cause any trouble. If he doesn't notice us, we'll have a chance to sneak in."
Moment Queen said this to Han Sen. She didn't think Han Sen was strong enough to fight the Devil-Blood King.
"Okay."
Han Sen knew he wasn't strong enough, and with only a few people and a fairy, it was best to keep a low profile.
Han Sen returned Moment Queen to the Sea of Soul, and then he went to the center of the island. The Empty Vine's main body was there.
After walking for ten miles, Han Sen heard a voice calling for help. He was shocked, because it sounded like a human. It couldn't have been a spirit.
"Buddha! Jade King! Virgin Mary! Someone, please save me!" The voice sounded very pitiful. Han Sen listened to it twice, and the more he listened, the more familiar it sounded.
"Sh * t! Isn't that Wang Yuhang's voice?
Why is he here?
That's impossible. "Han Sen's head was full of questions, and his face changed.
In a place where super creatures were everywhere, Han Sen did not know what would happen to him if he stayed with Wang Yuhang. If he did, he could very well lose his life.
Without saying a word, Han Sen turned around and walked away. But Wang Yuhang's voice was getting closer and closer.
"Holy sh * t! I can't be this unlucky, can I?" Han Sen felt depressed, but then he saw Wang Yuhang come running out of a valley.
The guy's eyes were sharp. He was so far away, but he was still able to spot Han Sen. His face lit up with joy, and as he ran, he shouted, "Bossman! Bossman! I did not expect you to be so loyal. You came all the way here to save me! I am so touched! Come and save me! I am going to be bitten to death!"
Han Sen was speechless. Wang Yuhang didn't know he was there, so he didn't think he'd come to save him.
But now that he had been seen, he couldn't just leave. He looked behind Wang Yuhang and saw a big white goose following him. It was squawking.
When it caught up with Wang Yuhang, it bit down on his buttocks. Wang Yuhang screamed in agony.
"Bossman! Save me!" Wang Yuhang screamed at Han Sen again.
Han Sen had no choice but to pull out his Flaming Rex Spike and rush forward. He felt the white goose's lifeforce was weak, and it was probably just a sacred-blood creature. There was no need to be careless, so he decided to kill it.
Han Sen swung his sword, and the feathers of the big white goose went flying everywhere. Its body was on fire, but surprisingly, the strike didn't kill the big white goose.
The white goose squealed, and Han Sen used his Flaming Rex Spike to kill it.
"Sacred-Blood Creature White Swan killed. Beast soul gained. Eat its flesh to gain zero to ten sacred geno points randomly."
Han Sen looked at the white swan and thought there was no need to waste anything. He took out his Death Knell and dripped the white swan's blood onto the blue bell. It would help it grow.
Han Sen summoned Princess Yin Yang and asked them to start a fire. He was going to roast the goose.
"Bossman, you are so good to me. I did not expect you to come all the way here to save me." Wang Yuhang ran up to him and hugged him. His face was covered in tears and snot.
"I didn't know you would be here. I was just passing by. What I want to ask you is, why are you here?" Han Sen looked at Wang Yuhang as he spoke.
When Wang Yuhang heard Han Sen say this, he still did not believe him. He looked touched and said, "I know you are a good person, Bossman. Don't be embarrassed. I know you must have suffered a lot to save me. You must have chased me all the way here. I am so touched."
"Stop! Tell me, how did you end up here?" Han Sen saw Wang Yuhang was going to lean on him again, so he quickly stopped him.
Wang Yuhang looked angry and said, "That guy is not human. I was fishing near the ice lake when they knocked me out. When I woke up, they locked me in a cage and brought me here. They didn't treat me like a human being, and they kept me in a cage the entire time. You don't understand, but that is the kind of thing a human would have to suffer."
Wang Yuhang became more and more agitated as he spoke. In the end, Han Sen had to interrupt him to tell him that those people had been attacked by two powerful creatures. That was how he was able to escape.
"Hurry up and eat something. After you're done, you can leave."
Han Sen was not as brave as those people. He did not dare bring Wang Yuhang to a place like this. He planned to let him eat something and then let him leave.
"Yes, yes!" Wang Yuhang picked up a piece of roasted goose meat and prepared to dig in.
"Quack!"
A weird squawk sounded across the sky. A giant white swan descended from the sky and landed in front of Wang Yuhang. It shook the ground, and its wings created a tornado. Its red eyes were like wheels, and they stared at Wang Yuhang and the roasted goose in front of him.
