Han Sen followed Destiny's Child's gaze, and he saw that Zero had come out of the Dark Haunted Tree King. She was walking towards him.
Zero had returned to her human form, but there was a small red knife in her hand.
The knife was only one foot long, and it was red. It looked like a piece of bone that had been dyed red with blood.
Han Sen frowned, unsure why Destiny's Child was so afraid of Zero.
"Impossible … this is impossible …" Destiny's Child screamed like a madman, as if he was terrified to the extreme.
Han Sen looked at Destiny's Child and wanted to tell him to shut up. But before he could, there was a flash of red light. The knife had been plunged into Destiny's Child's heart.
Destiny's Child's body twitched, and it felt as if all the blood in his body had been sucked into his heart. He became a dry corpse, just like the other humans.
Han Sen raised an eyebrow. This was very strange. He did not know where Zero had gotten a bone knife from, and why she had killed Destiny's Child so suddenly.
Zero walked in front of Destiny's Child and pulled the small bone knife out of his heart.
"Why did you kill him?" Han Sen asked with a frown.
"He deserved it," Zero answered. Her eyes were clear and pure.
"I'm asking you, why did you kill him?" Han Sen asked again.
Zero looked at Han Sen and did not speak. She just looked at Han Sen, and her eyes were the same as before.
Han Sen looked at the bone knife in her hand and asked, "Where did you get this?"
"A tree hole," Zero answered.
"You went to the tree hole to retrieve this knife?" Han Sen asked with surprise.
Zero nodded. It was an affirmative answer.
"How did you know there was a bone knife in the tree?" Han Sen asked with confusion.
Zero had never been to the Second God's Sanctuary before, so how did she know there was such a knife in the tree hole?
"It's summoning me." Zero waved the blood-red bone blade in his hand.
Han Sen reached out for it and said, "Let me see."
But Zero pulled her hand back and said, "You can't touch it."
"Why can't I touch it?" Han Sen frowned. Zero was getting weirder and weirder.
"You will die," Zero said seriously.
Han Sen was shocked, and he did not know what Zero meant. Was he going to die if he touched the knife, or was she going to kill him if he touched it?
Looking at Zero's eyes that were as clear as spring water, Han Sen had his suspicions. But he didn't believe Zero would kill him.
Without asking Zero, Han Sen picked up Destiny's Child's body and wanted to see if he could get anything useful out of it.
It was a pity that the clothes on Destiny's Child's body had already rotted. After that big battle, they had already turned into strips of cloth. There was nothing inside.
But when Han Sen looked at Destiny's Child's back, he was shocked. The Nine-Life Cat tattoo was gone.
Han Sen turned the body over and over again. He checked every nook and cranny of the body, but he couldn't find a single tattoo.
"Do you know who he is?" Han Sen stood up and looked at Zero.
Zero shook her head. Han Sen did not expect to get anything useful out of her, so he stopped asking. He walked over to the coffin that Destiny's Child had emerged from.
The coffin seemed to have been made from the wood of the Dark Haunted Tree. There was nothing inside, and it was just an empty coffin.
Unable to find anything useful, Han Sen walked over to the Dark Haunted Tree King. To Han Sen's surprise, the Dark Haunted Tree King's lifeforce was no longer draining away.
Han Sen walked over to the Dark Haunted Tree King and looked at the hole that Zero had made. It was winding and twisting, and he could not see the end of it. He looked at Zero, who was quietly following him, as usual. Han Sen gritted his teeth and entered the hole.
It was just a hole in the tree, and although it was big, there was nothing special about it. Han Sen looked around, but he did not find anything.
"Weird."
Han Sen frowned and looked at Zero. He wanted to ask her what was going on, but she did not answer him.
Unable to find anything useful, Han Sen rode the Golden Howler to find Liu Fang and Wang Jiangang. Fortunately, they were only in shock. Han Sen led them out of the Dark Haunted Forest.
Strangely, the Dark Haunted Tree and the Dark Haunted Bug were still there, but they were able to walk out of the forest with ease. The forest was only a few hundred miles wide, and it wasn't as big as Han Sen had expected.
Liu Fang and Wang Jiangang were glad they were able to escape from the Dark Haunted Forest. But Han Sen had a lot of questions.
Zero's Blood Bone Knife was gone, and he had no idea where she had put it. Han Sen looked at it for a while, but he could not see where she had put it.
"If the Nine-Life Cat Pendant is a relic of Blood Legion, does that mean I can practice the Blood-Pulse Sutra?" Han Sen thought of this, and he became excited.
Although he had already practiced the Dongxuan Sutra, there was no harm in learning more. Plus, the Blood-Pulse Sutra was a skill that could benefit future generations, so there was no harm in learning it.
Han Sen tried to practice the Blood-Pulse Sutra with the Nine-Life Cat Pendant. It took him half a month to reach the beginner level, but it would take him a long time to unlock the first gene lock.
As he practiced the Blood-Pulse Sutra, he continued on his journey to the Blue Crystal Shelter. After eight days of travel, he found a second-generation super creature at the mouth of a river.
It was a monster that looked like a snake. When Han Sen flew across the river, it leapt out of the water in an attempt to eat Han Sen.
Han Sen and Little Silver beat the crap out of him, and Han Sen, in his Silver Blood Macaque form, crushed his skull in a single blow.
"Super Creature River-Dragon killed. No beast soul gained. Its flesh is edible, and you may harvest its Life Geno Essence. Consume its Life Geno Essence to gain zero to ten super geno points randomly."
Han Sen refined the River-Dragon's Life Geno Essence, and he gained six super geno points. He was only two away from maxing out.
Half of the River-Dragon's flesh was eaten by the fairy, and the rest was eaten by the silver fox.
"It won't be long before I get to the Third God's Sanctuary. I hope my luck won't be too bad then." Han Sen was a bit worried, and the lotus mark on his forehead was still a concern for him.
On the way, Han Sen passed by a human shelter. He returned to the Alliance to replenish his supplies and ask around about super creatures.
What surprised Han Sen the most was that there was a mountain nearby that had been struck by lightning for many years. There was a super creature there, and that would be a great source of nourishment for the silver fox.
