After spending so much time together, Qu Lanxi and Chu Ming were no longer wary of Han Sen. After they returned to the orchard, Han Sen picked up the bucket and went to the riverbank.
When he came to the water vine again, he saw that the water vine and the toad were still there. There were already three copper-coin-sized fruits on the water vine. They were golden in color and had copper coin patterns on them.
They didn't look ripe yet, but they weren't far off.
Han Sen planned to kill the toad and use the waterdrop to speed up the growth of the fruits. That way, he could kill two birds with one stone.
Han Sen hadn't fought in a long time, and he felt as if his bones were rusty. He moved his body and simulated the silver fox's lightning powers. Then, he ran ten meters away from the toad and pointed his finger at it.
Suddenly, a bolt of silver lightning shot out from his finger and blasted the toad's body.
Boom!
The toad's body froze, and then it angrily crawled out of the water. It opened its mouth and spat out a copper coin that was round on the outside and square on the inside. It turned into a beam of light and shot toward Han Sen.
Han Sen knew his lightning wouldn't hurt the toad, but that was because Han Sen didn't want to use his full strength. He didn't want to hurt the fruit and the vine, so he wanted to draw the toad out of the water.
Seeing the copper coin come, Han Sen threw a punch. His fist crackled with lightning, and it blew up the copper coin in midair.
The toad was enraged when it saw that the copper coin it had spat out had been blown up. It let out a strange cry like that of a cow. Silver light bloomed on its body, and it turned into a silver toad in a flash. Its entire body seemed to be made of silver.
Han Sen felt the lifeforce of the silver toad increase, and his face changed. "This guy has opened his second gene lock?"
Moo!
The silver toad cried again and spat out another coin. This time, however, it wasn't a copper coin. It was a silver coin.
Han Sen stared at the silver coin. He knew this was no small matter. It was the power of someone who had opened their second gene lock, and Han Sen had yet to open his second gene lock.
Half of his body was covered in silver lightning, and the other half was filled with the sound of a bell. Han Sen summoned his strongest skill, Sonic-Thunder Punch, and threw it at the silver coin.
Silver lightning, which was as bright as the sun, shrunk around his fist and fiercely smashed onto the silver coin.
The silver coin and the lightning collided, shattering the lightning and striking Han Sen's fist.
Pang!
Han Sen fell back a few steps, and the silver coin was deformed by Han Sen's punch. It flew away like a bullet.
Han Sen's arm went numb, and he thought to himself, "The power of a second gene lock is strong. Although I haven't opened my second gene lock yet, my fitness is better than most people who have. I should be able to kill this toad with ease."
Han Sen did not expect the first creature he encountered in the Third God's Sanctuary would have already opened its second gene lock. So, he decided to go and kill it.
Moo!
But the toad cried again, and the silver color of its body was covered in gold. It looked as if it had been carved out of gold, and its body glowed with a golden light. It looked both hideous and extravagant. "Holy sh * t!
"Holy sh * t! A third gene lock!" Han Sen turned around and ran.
He simulated the Light Son of God's acceleration ability and flew off into the distance. He didn't even look back.
With his fitness, he was confident he could take on someone who had opened two gene locks. But against someone who had opened three gene locks, Han Sen didn't even think twice about it. Instead, he chose to run as far away as he could.
He had read the information he had received in the Alliance. Creatures with three open gene locks, regardless of whether they were humans, creatures, or xenogeneics, had a fitness level of over six hundred.
Their fitness was no worse than Han Sen's, and they could be even higher. Their power level was two levels higher than Han Sen's, so there was no way he could fight them.
Without a doubt, the toad was at least a primitive creature. Ordinary creatures could only open two gene locks at most, and primitive creatures could open four gene locks at most. The toad had opened three, which meant it was at least a primitive creature. It could be even higher.
A primitive creature with three gene locks open would be able to fight a mutant creature with only one gene lock open, so Han Sen was no exception.
When creatures were first born, regardless of their level, they could only open one gene lock. As for how many gene locks they could open in the future, that was dependent on their level and fitness. But that wasn't always the case. It all depended on their own effort and luck.
Humans had seen primitive creatures with five gene locks open, and they were able to kill mutant creatures that had only opened one or two gene locks. But that was a special case. There might not even be one out of a hundred thousand primitive creatures that had opened one or two gene locks. Ordinary primitive creatures with four gene locks open were extremely rare.
Han Sen did not know how many gene locks the toad had opened, but he could tell it was a primitive creature. If it had opened four gene locks, there was no way Han Sen would be able to beat it, as he had only opened one gene lock.
Han Sen hadn't run far when he heard the toad roar. A coin was hurtling towards Han Sen at an incredible speed.
Han Sen didn't dare take the coin head-on, so he used his dongxuan movements to evade it.
But the coin seemed to have a life of its own. It turned in the air and headed straight for Han Sen.
Han Sen was shocked. The distance was too close, and it was too late for him to dodge. So, he used Sonic-Thunder Punch again and threw it at the coin.
Pang!
Sonic-Thunder Punch was only the power of the first gene lock, so when it came into contact with the coin, the lightning was shattered. The coin hit Han Sen's fist.
Han Sen used all his strength to try and throw the coin away. But when his fist came into contact with the coin, it wasn't as hard as Han Sen had expected. The coin stuck to Han Sen's fist.
In the next second, Han Sen felt as if the weight on his body had increased. It was as if he was carrying a mountain, and he fell to the ground.
"Oh, no! This toad's power is weird."
Han Sen tried his best to get up. Although he used his strong body to stand up, his body was incredibly heavy. It was difficult for him to walk, and it was impossible for him to escape at such a speed.
Moo!
The Coin Toad roared and spat out another coin at Han Sen. It flew through the air toward Han Sen's heavy body.
