He killed a few at first, but soon, he realized he couldn't find a spirit that was ranked higher than him in the second spirit base. It wasn't that they were avoiding him; they were simply not entering the spirit base.
"The King, you do not need to look anymore. Unless you fight Phoenix King, you will not be able to find a higher ranked spirit. No lower ranked spirit will accept your challenge," Heavenly Empress told Han Sen, after Phoenix King and the others found him.
Flower Empress looked at Han Sen with a look of disappointment. Flower Empress admired Han Sen's strength, but she didn't expect him to refuse Phoenix Empress' challenge. She was starting to underestimate him.
"It seems that my plan to hunt the king spirits is not going to work anymore."
Han Sen sighed. He thought he would be able to obtain more Emperor Spirit genes, but he did not expect the Emperor Spirit to avoid him. Aside from Phoenix King, there was no one else he could challenge.
"Despicable asshole! Come and challenge me if you dare! What is the point of bullying the weak? You call yourself an Emperor Spirit," The King of Day said.
Han Sen looked at the King of Day and said, "Fine. As you wish, I will challenge you. Come."
"Despicable! Challenge Phoenix King if you dare!" The King of Day shouted.
Han Sen smiled and said, "So, you are the weakling you were talking about. I was wrong. I thought you were something, but I didn't expect you to think you were weak. I overestimated you."
"You …" The King of Day's face turned green, and he could not speak.
Han Sen did not look at him. He looked at Phoenix King and said, "Phoenix King, do you really want to fight me?"
"You don't have what it takes to be my opponent. I just don't like your despicable behavior, so I'm teaching you a lesson," Phoenix King said coldly. He didn't think much of Han Sen.
"Good. Well said." Han Sen clapped his hands and laughed.
Flower Empress and the other spirits frowned. Phoenix King was looking down on Han Sen, and yet he was still laughing. Was he crazy?
Han Sen looked at Phoenix King and said, "If you think you can teach me a lesson, then do you dare to fight me until you have one last Self Geno Point?"
Heavenly Empress, Flower Empress, and the others were shocked. If it was a self fight, it would be a never-ending battle. It wouldn't be over just because one of them was killed. It would go on until one's self geno points reached zero.
