"Do you want to stay in the Sea of Soul, or do you want to take control of this shelter and enter the spirit base?" Han Sen smiled at Moment Queen.
Moment Queen's face looked strange. Humans knew about the existence of a spirit base, but not many knew what it actually was.
Han Sen was right. She didn't want to be trapped in the Sea of Soul, and if she could take control of the shelter and enter the spirit base, she might be able to find a way out.
Han Sen knew what Moment Queen was thinking, and that was exactly what he wanted. If Moment Queen had no hope, she wouldn't have offered him her King Spirit.
King Spirit genes were rare, and Moment Queen's King Spirit gene might be a rare space element. Han Sen thought she might be the only one who could get it.
Otherwise, even if he encountered a space element King Spirit in the spirit base, he'd only be able to take a little. After all, not many spirits were stupid enough to fight him like Phoenix.
Moment Queen's face changed, and she looked at Han Sen and said, "When I was kicked out of the Second God's Sanctuary, I lost all my King Spirit genes. Even if I agreed to give you a little, I don't have the power to do so."
"How do you gain self geno points?" Han Sen wanted to know, too. He wanted to increase his Super King Spirit's self geno points.
"Eat the Life Geno Essence of a super creature or the fruit of a geno plant. You can gain self geno points," Moment Queen answered.
"Alright, now we can talk about the issue of cooperation."
Han Sen smiled at Moment Queen and said, "But before that, you have to give me some geno points."
"I really only have one," Moment Queen quickly said.
"Give it to me, or return to the Sea of Soul. It's your choice." Han Sen looked at Moment Queen coldly. He did not believe her.
Even if she had lost her King Spirit genes, she had been in the Second God's Sanctuary for many years. Han Sen did not believe she had not obtained a single self geno point.
She was able to grow a six-wheel tree, so Han Sen did not believe she did not have a backup plan.
Moment Queen wished to say something, but Han Sen raised his hand to take her back. She quickly said, "I can give you some geno points, but you must at least tell me how you intend to cooperate."
"Give it to me first." Han Sen looked at Moment Queen calmly.
Moment Queen did not want to be trapped in the Sea of Soul any longer. She gritted her teeth and fired a light at Han Sen.
"King Spirit: Time Gene + 1."
Han Sen was shocked. He thought Moment Queen was able to teleport, so her genes should have been space. He did not expect her to possess a time gene, which was even rarer.
"Are you satisfied now? What do you want?" Moment Queen bit her lip and looked at Han Sen.
"Don't worry, we can discuss this slowly." Han Sen looked at Moment Queen and gave her a charming smile.
Han Sen and Moment Queen talked for a long time, and they came to an agreement. He would allow her to control the shelter for a while, but she would have to listen to his commands. And when she obtained a self geno point, she would have to give half of it to Han Sen until Han Sen maxed out his time gene.
Moment Queen could also enter the spirit base, but when Han Sen needed her, she would have to help Han Sen hunt creatures.
Both of them had their own needs, so they came to an agreement. Moment Queen now had a glimmer of hope, and she did not want to die.
Because there was hope, she was willing to compromise on certain things. She wasn't so desperate, so she was willing to listen to Han Sen's orders. She didn't want to die with him.
"A king-class time gene? That is so rare. Moment Queen is not an ordinary person," Han Sen thought to himself. He was overjoyed.
"By the way, you said you killed the emperor's son. If you enter the spirit base, won't you be discovered by the emperor's people?" Han Sen asked.
"I look different now. If I am careful, they won't notice me. Do you think I would go back to the Third God's Sanctuary to get killed?" Moment Queen said.
"Good." Han Sen nodded and did not say anything more.
Moment Queen walked in front of the statue and looked at its forehead. Suddenly, a black-hole-like light emerged from her body. It flowed into the recess and formed a spirit stone that looked like a black hole.
The spirit stone shot out a black light and landed on Moment Queen. She then disappeared and entered the spirit base.
Han Sen did not use his super King Spirit in front of Moment Queen, because he did not want her to know he was The King. He did not want her to come up with any ideas.
After all, she could communicate with other spirits in the spirit base. So, Han Sen did not want her to know.
And if she were to try something funny in the future, he could use his super spirit mode to catch her off guard and take her down.
Moment Queen had come to the Third God's Sanctuary and entered the spirit base again. She was going to collect a lot of geno points, so she would not be out so soon.
Han Sen did not wait for her there, though. He returned to the plaza and watered the Dragon-Blood Tree.
Han Sen thought each flower would bear a fruit, but Han Sen soon realized he was wrong.
After the blood-red flowers withered, most of them did not bear fruit. The entire Dragon Blood Ancient Tree only bore four grape-sized Dragon Blood Fruits.
"Why are there only four?" Han Sen was disappointed.
Four mutant class pet beast souls was quite good, though. After all, the pet beast souls of geno plants could be harvested before they matured. Once they matured, they could be used to fight, so there was no need to feed them.
That meant Han Sen only had to wait until the fruit was ripe to receive four mutant class pets.
For the next few days, Han Sen did not hunt. He waited for Moment Queen to return, watering the Dragon-Blood Tree and waiting for his four mutant Dragon-Blood Snakes to be born.
"I wonder how many gene locks the Dragon-Blood Snake can open," Han Sen thought to himself with anticipation.
In theory, mutant pets could open up to six gene locks. If they were the offspring of a creature, they could only open one gene lock at birth. As they grew stronger, they could open more gene locks.
That was not the case for pet beast souls from geno plants. When they were born, they had multiple gene locks open. The more talented they were, the more gene locks they could open.
And the number of gene locks they could open was fixed. Unlike ordinary creatures, they could only open as many as they wanted. There was no chance of leveling up.
