"It really is just an ordinary creature." Han Sen's frown deepened.
Along the way, the red-eyed rabbits he had encountered were all ordinary creatures. That meant their genes were average. Even the rabbit king would have been lucky to reach primitive class. But the first rabbit Han Sen encountered had opened seven of its gene locks.
Because it was just an ordinary creature, it was useless to Han Sen. Han Sen didn't want to kill it, so he left it behind and continued down the canyon.
There were many Red Eyes Rabbits in this area, and there were a few other creatures. But there wasn't anything that Han Sen needed.
After walking for a few dozen miles, he finally lost sight of the rabbit. But there was no point in thinking too much about it. The rabbit had opened seven gene locks, so there was no point in thinking too much about it. He couldn't break its shield, so there was no point in thinking too much about it.
After walking through the canyon, Han Sen came across a mutant creature that was perfect for him to hunt.
On a cliff, half of it was covered by a giant hive. Many golden-ringed, tiger-headed wasps flew in and out of it.
Han Sen recognized these wasps. They were quite common in Thorn Forest, and they were called Tiger-Tooth Wasps. They were extremely strong, and their venom was extremely potent. Ordinary Tiger-Tooth Wasps were primitive, but mutant wasps were rare.
Han Sen's target was the mutant wasps. Their fitness was weak, and their bodies were weak. They were perfect for Han Sen to hunt.
Using the same trick again, Han Sen placed the body of the red-eyed rabbit he had hunted in a predetermined location. He dripped a drop of the white bear's blood onto it, then hid behind a mountain wall some distance away.
Sure enough, many Tiger Fang Bees flew out of the hive on the mountain wall and flew towards the corpse of the Red-eyed Rabbit. There were at least two to three hundred of them.
Han Sen drew his bow, and he stared at the Tiger-Tooth Wasps that looked different from the rest.
It was not easy to hit the Tiger-Fang Bee from such a long distance. The Tiger-Fang Bee moved very fast and had dynamic vision.
What seemed fast to an outsider would become very slow under their dynamic vision. As long as they could see the arrow and keep up with it, no one would be able to hit them.
Han Sen was waiting for an angle where they couldn't see the arrow. With his dongxuan aura, the wasps wouldn't be able to see it coming.
Finally, Han Sen found an opening. The arrow in his hand left the bowstring, and it turned into a beam of light that shot towards one of the bees.
"Mutant Creature Hunted: Tiger-Tooth Bee. Beast soul gained. Consume its flesh to gain zero to ten mutant geno points randomly."
Han Sen was overjoyed. His luck was on his side again. The first Tiger-Tooth Bee he killed was a beast soul.
Han Sen looked at the Tiger-Tooth Bee's beast soul, and he was delighted. It was an arrow beast soul.
"Finally, I can swap out my arrows."
Han Sen felt the primitive Rocket Porcupine arrows were not enough, but he didn't expect to get a mutant arrow beast soul.
Han Sen summoned the Tiger-Tooth Arrow, and it was a white arrow that looked like it had been forged from teeth. The tip of the arrow had a hook, and it looked scary.
"Good arrow," Han Sen complimented, and he played with the arrow in his hands.
Han Sen looked at the Tiger-Tooth Wasps. They weren't very intelligent, and they were attracted by the white bear's blood, so they didn't care that their companion had been killed.
Han Sen nocked the Tiger-Tooth Arrow, and he aimed it at one of the wasps that had landed on the body of the Red-eye Rabbit.
With a flash of light, the Tiger Fang Arrow pierced through the body of the Mutant Tiger Fang Bee. The sharpness of the arrow was enough to send chills down one's spine.
Han Sen summoned the Tiger-Tooth Bees back, and he shot them again. Each arrow killed a mutant Tiger-Tooth Bee, and by the time the Red-eye Tiger's body was no longer tempting, Han Sen had already killed six.
Because they were too far away, and Han Sen had blocked out his lifeforce, the other wasps didn't notice their companion had been killed, and they all returned to the hive.
Han Sen picked up the dead wasps and put them back in his pocket. He then used the white bear's blood on the Red-eye Rabbit's body to attract the wasps again.
After a few more rounds, Han Sen killed sixteen mutant Tiger-Tooth Bees, and he received another mutant Tiger-Tooth Arrow.
"Nice!"
Seeing that there were no more mutant beasts in the swarm, Han Sen got two more arrows, and he didn't want to waste the white bear's blood.
Every time Han Sen drew the white bear's blood, it squealed like a pig being slaughtered. Han Sen had no choice but to bring the Bao 'er to the side.
The white bear was extremely afraid of the Bao 'er, and with the Bao' er by its side, it didn't even dare to breathe loudly, much less make a sound.
Carrying the bag of Tiger-Tooth Bees, Han Sen left the mountain and went to the riverside to deal with the carcasses. He then started a fire and began to roast them.
Unlike the Tank Ants, the fat Tiger-Tooth Bees were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The meat was very unique, but because it had a wild taste to it, it had to be seasoned.
Han Sen sprinkled some of the chili and cumin powder he had brought with him. He took a bite, and the crispy, spicy taste almost made Han Sen feel good to the bone.
"Mutant Tiger-Tooth Bee meat eaten. Mutant geno point + 1."
"Good!
If only I had a few bottles of beer. "
Han Sen took one bite after another. The Tiger-Tooth Bees were very fat, and they were as big as pigeons. They had no bones, and they were all tender meat. With the crispy skin, they were so delicious that Han Sen almost bit his tongue off.
Han Sen was enjoying himself, and suddenly, a white shadow flashed. It was a snow-white rabbit with red eyes. It squatted next to the fire and reached out its paw to grab one of the Tiger-Tooth Bees that Han Sen was still roasting.
"It's you again!"
Han Sen watched as the Red-Eyed Rabbit's front teeth flew up and down, swallowing the Tiger Fanged Bee. It was the Red-Eyed Rabbit King.
"Your sister, you're here to steal my things again. Even a rabbit will bite when cornered. You've really gone too far."
Han Sen was infuriated, but then he thought about it. His Undying Bird's flames wouldn't be able to break through the shield. Han Sen reached out to summon the Dragon-Blood Snake, but after a moment's hesitation, he decided against it.
It was hard to say if the Dragon-Blood Snake would be able to defeat the Red-Eyed Rabbit King. If the Dragon-Blood Snake were to be killed, then the losses would outweigh the gains.
Looking at the Red Eyed Rabbit King, which was eating so fast that its mouth was full, Han Sen had an idea.
