Han Sen sat down next to the fire and pulled out another Tiger Tooth Bee. He put it on a skewer and continued to roast it.
He had hunted a total of sixteen Sabertooth Bees. He had roasted four of them, but he had only eaten one when the Red-Eyed Rabbit King came running over. It had already killed one of the bees, but it was still gnawing on another one in each of its claws.
Han Sen used all of his skills to cook the Tiger Tooth Bee. The aroma of the Tiger Tooth Bee was incredible.
As the saying goes, as long as you put in enough effort, you could grind an iron rod into a needle. Han Sen had been killing, killing, and barbecuing for so many years. Even if he had no talent in cooking, his barbecue skills were already very good.
Even a human gourmet would drool at the sight of such a potent, spicy aroma, let alone a country bumpkin like the Red Eyed Rabbit King, who hadn't seen much of the world.
By the time the Red-Eyed Rabbit King finished eating the two Tiger Tooth Bees, Han Sen was already roasting them. The Red-Eyed Rabbit King's red eyes stared at the Tiger Tooth Bee, drooling.
But to Han Sen's surprise, the Red-Eyed Rabbit King didn't try to steal the Tiger Tooth Bee. It just stared at the Tiger Tooth Bee.
Han Sen thought the Red-Eyed Rabbit King would try to steal the Tiger Tooth Bee, but after a while, the Red-Eyed Rabbit King didn't move.
"What's wrong with this guy?"
Han Sen thought for a moment and seemed to understand something. He stuck the iron skewer into the ground and sat up straight.
Seeing Han Sen put down the Tiger Tooth Bee, the Red-Eyed Rabbit King jumped to the side and grabbed the bee with its claws. It wasn't afraid of the heat, though, and it stuffed the bee into its mouth.
"Eat, eat. Eat more. How dare you try to steal my food? You have a death wish."
Han Sen watched the Red-Eyed Rabbit King munch on the Spicy Tiger-Tooth Bee, and he looked pleased with himself.
When Han Sen was preparing the seasoning, he squeezed out the venom he had collected from the Tiger Tooth Bee.
Because the Tiger Fang Bee's venom already had a numbing effect, eating it would make a person's sense of taste dull. With the cover of the spicy marijuana and the fact that the Red-Eyed Rabbit had already tasted the Spicy Tiger Fang Bee, it didn't realize that the roasted Tiger Fang Bee had been poisoned.
However, Han Sen didn't expect the venom of the Tiger Tooth Bee to actually kill a sacred-blood creature. He only needed to numb the Red-Eyed Rabbit King and give Han Sen a chance to attack it.
He stared at the rabbit king, waiting for the Spicy Tiger-Tooth Bee to show signs of being poisoned. That way, he'd be able to strike.
But who knew that after a few bites, the Red-Eyed Rabbit suddenly foamed at the mouth and fell to the ground, twitching. It looked like it was about to die.
Han Sen was shocked. The rabbit's resistance to poison seemed to be very weak. It had only eaten a little, and it had already been poisoned. And in just a few seconds, it looked like it was going to die.
"Is this guy really a sacred-blood creature?"
Han Sen was shocked. He flew over to the rabbit king. Its eyes were squinting, and its body was twitching. Its lifeforce was quickly fading away.
Han Sen reached out and scratched its fur. The Red-Eyed Rabbit King could no longer use its glass shield, so Han Sen's finger cut its fur open. Blood gushed out of the wound.
Han Sen was even more shocked. The Red-Eyed Rabbit King was much weaker than he had expected. It was even weaker than Han Sen had expected.
Weak, really too weak, so weak that it was unimaginable.
The Red-Eyed Rabbit King that Han Sen thought was sacred-blood was only a little stronger than the average Red-Eyed Rabbit King, but it was still within the fitness range of an ordinary creature.
"How is that possible?
How can a creature with seven gene locks open be so weak?
Did it open seven gene locks as an ordinary creature?
Or is it just a sacred-blood creature? "Han Sen looked at the Rabbit King in shock.
The Red Eye Rabbit King was on the verge of death. Han Sen cast a holy light on the rabbit to heal its wounds and purify the toxins inside it.
Han Sen thought it couldn't be a sacred-blood creature. There was no way a sacred-blood creature could be that weak. The other Red-Eyed Rabbits were all ordinary creatures, so there was no way this Rabbit King could be a sacred-blood creature.
The only possibility was that the Red-Eyed Rabbit King had opened seven gene locks as an ordinary creature.
Although this was also an unbelievable explanation, it was also the most likely explanation.
If it was an ordinary creature, there was no point in killing it. Even if he obtained a beast soul, it would only be an ordinary one. Han Sen didn't need that.
Han Sen wanted to know why an ordinary Red-Eyed Rabbit could open seven gene locks.
This was unbelievable. Even if a human had a fitness level of three hundred, it would be amazing if they could open their second gene lock, no matter how talented they were. They'd be considered a peerless genius.
Legend had it that there were geniuses who had opened three gene locks at a fitness level of three hundred. Such geniuses required a lot of time and special opportunities. Even so, such geniuses had only appeared in human legends.
Take Han Sen for example. He was talented, and if he was willing to spend a few years, even if he only had a fitness level of three hundred, he could open his second gene lock.
If he was lucky enough to obtain some geno treasures, he might be able to open his third gene lock with a fitness level of three hundred. That was the limit.
But this required time and luck. Han Sen was not interested in such things. He wanted to increase his fitness and unlock his gene lock in the shortest amount of time possible. That was the way to go.
The rabbit had opened seven gene locks at the level of an ordinary creature. No one would believe him if he told them about it, though. It was almost impossible to believe.
"This Red-Eyed Rabbit King must have obtained some kind of great opportunity to reach such a terrifying level. Just what kind of opportunity is this?
If there's a chance, does that mean I'll be able to benefit from it? "Han Sen thought to himself as he used his holy light to heal the rabbit's wounds.
Han Sen wanted to know what was going on with the rabbit king.
Under the holy light's baptism, the Red-Eye Rabbit King started to feel better. The poison in its body was purified, and it opened its eyes.
Clearly, the Red-Eye Rabbit King wasn't very aggressive. When it saw Han Sen next to it, it didn't resist. It just lay there quietly and continued to receive Han Sen's holy light healing.
