Han Sen opened the package and found an ordinary recyclable box. He opened the box and saw a letter inside.
Han Sen was surprised. Communication was so advanced these days, and yet someone had sent a letter to him. That was quite unusual.
The front of the envelope was facing up, but there was no writing. Han Sen could not tell who it was from. He picked up the envelope and looked at the back, but it was still empty.
When he opened the envelope, there was only one piece of paper inside. He took it out and opened it. There was only one line written on it.
"There is an item that will be delivered in three days. When you receive it, take it to the shelter for safekeeping. Do not let anyone see it. It is Blind Man." Han Sen read the message and frowned.
Han Sen did not know who the Blind Man was, but the handwriting looked familiar. After thinking for a while, he remembered where he had seen the handwriting and knew who the Blind Man was.
When he was in the Second God's Sanctuary, he met a weirdo who called himself Blind Man. The Blind Man gave him a book that was similar to Primal Innocence. Han Sen learned a lot from it.
However, he had only met the Blind Man once, and they did not speak much. Why would the Blind Man write him a letter and ask him to safekeep something?
"This is strange. How can there be such a weird person?"
Han Sen did not understand what was going on, but he did not think it was a prank. He had to wait three days and see if anyone would deliver the item and what it was.
Three days was neither too long nor too short, and on the afternoon of the third day, something appeared in his inbox.
But strangely enough, it wasn't delivered by an AI.
Han Sen looked at the surveillance footage and saw that the person who delivered the item was a living person.
But the person was covered up, so he couldn't see who it was.
He couldn't even tell if it was a man or a woman.
That person put the items into the inbox and left without any extra movements from beginning to end.
Han Sen took the box back to his house. Because it hadn't been scanned, he didn't dare open it. So, he brought it back to the sanctuary. Then, he summoned Moment Queen and asked her to open it in case there was something dangerous inside.
Moment Queen opened the box, and there was nothing dangerous inside. Inside the box was a purple-red three-legged cauldron.
Han Sen picked up the cauldron and took a closer look. It was about twenty centimeters tall and ten centimeters wide. There was a lid on top of the cauldron, and it was hard to see what was inside.
But on the outside of the furnace, Han Sen saw a familiar symbol. It looked like a cat, but it wasn't a cat, and it wasn't a fox.
"This is from Blood Legion?
Is the Blind Man from Blood Legion?
Why did he send this three-legged copper cauldron to me? "
Han Sen frowned. He shook the copper cauldron a few times, wanting to hear if there was anything inside.
But Han Sen was disappointed. There was no sound, and it seemed as if there was nothing inside.
Han Sen opened the lid of the three-legged copper cauldron, and when he looked inside, he was given a shock. There was something inside the cauldron.
Han Sen took a closer look and saw a red orb inside the cauldron. It was the size of a ping pong ball. But when Han Sen shook the cauldron, the orb didn't make a sound. Han Sen didn't hear it move, either.
"Weird. How is that possible?"
Han Sen was very confident in his senses. If the orb was spinning inside the copper stove, there was no way he wouldn't be able to feel it.
Han Sen put the lid back on and tried to shake it. Still, he couldn't hear a sound, and he couldn't feel the orb inside.
But when he opened the lid, the blood-red bead was still swaying inside. It even emitted a faint medicinal fragrance.
"What the hell is this thing?"
Han Sen took the orb out of the furnace. It was warm to the touch, and it felt like jade. But it was much lighter than jade.
No matter how he looked at it, he couldn't tell what it was. He could only guess that it might be some kind of pill, but he couldn't be sure because it felt more like a piece of jade. It would be hard to dissolve after eating it.
Han Sen wasn't going to eat something he didn't know about, so he put the blood orb back into the cauldron. Then, he put the cauldron back into the box. He found a secret place in the sanctuary to hide it.
It wasn't that he wanted to cooperate with Blind, but it would be hard for him to explain himself if something of unknown origin were to stay in the Alliance and if it was somehow related to a murder case.
After hiding the orb, Han Sen returned to the Alliance and searched for the appearance of the three-legged furnace on the Skynet.
He found many three-legged furnaces, but none of them looked like the one he was looking for. Han Sen also did not find any news or cases related to the furnace. There was no information about it on the Skynet.
Otherwise, with the current technology of search engines, all you had to do was enter the size and shape of the furnace, and you could accurately search for similar objects.
But now, Han Sen had not found a matching furnace. At most, he could only find an eighty or ninety percent similar one.
As for the orb, Han Sen could not find any specific information about it, so he had to give up the idea of searching for clues on the Skynet.
He did not know why he came back, and he did not receive any more letters from Blind Man. It seemed that the whole thing was over. Han Sen had to put it aside for the time being.
"Little Han, we found an injured sacred-blood creature in Thorn Forest. Would you like to go and take a look?"
When Han Sen went to the East Side, Old Huang came looking for him with a face full of excitement.
"What sacred-blood creature?"
Han Sen's interest was piqued. He was about to unlock his fourth gene lock, and he was thinking about hunting a sacred-blood creature.
"It was a big black snake. We saw it from afar, and it seemed to be badly injured. When a mutant frog approached, it was swallowed. So, we thought it was a sacred-blood creature," Old Huang explained to Han Sen.
"Let's go and take a look."
Han Sen left the shelter with Old Huang, and after a dozen miles, they saw a big black snake coiled around a big rock.
The snake's entire body was pitch-black, and its body was as thick as a water bucket. No matter how one looked at it, it was at least several dozen meters long. However, the snake scales on its body were injured in many places. Many parts of its body were lacerated, as if it had been forcefully clawed open by claws.
"It really is a sacred-blood creature."
Han Sen scanned it with his Dongxuan Aura. Its lifeforce was indeed that of a sacred-blood creature, but it was severely injured.
