"In the future?"
Han Sen was shocked. It seemed as if Bao'er was obsessed with the vine, and she wanted to take it back.
After some hesitation, Han Sen decided to give up on killing the fish king. Killing a super creature was not difficult for Han Sen, so there was no reason to upset Bao'er over a super creature.
Han Sen was also interested in the vine, and if the fish king could help him in the future, he would spare its life.
Han Sen simulated the silver fox's lightning and used it to strike the fish king's wound.
Because the Dongxuan Sutra's gene lock was too low, the fish king's fitness was too high. Therefore, the silver lightning did not do much good.
After half a day, Han Sen was so tired that he could not cast any more lightning. The fish king's wounds began to heal.
"This must be a berserk super creature." Han Sen, seeing how strong the fish king's fitness was, was able to confirm his suspicions.
The Fish King's body recovered a little. It glanced at the giant mountain that was once again enveloped by the sea of clouds. Its eyes seemed to be filled with unwillingness, but there was nothing it could do. It swayed its tail and swam downstream.
Bao'er looked at the mountain with a sad expression. Han Sen held her as he stood atop the fish king's back, thinking about the connection between the vine and Bao'er.
The big fish swam down the river, and after half a day, it finally met the Empress, who was coming along the river. The Empress saw that the big fish was covered in wounds, and the scales on its body were all gone. She looked shocked.
Han Sen put away the Golden Howler and allowed Queen to sit atop the fish's back. He told her what had happened, but he did not mention anything about Bao'er.
"There are many mysteries in the sanctuaries that we do not know, and we do not know what is going on. But if the fish king is willing to risk its life for the vine, I'm afraid the vine must be beneficial to it. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be willing to risk its life for it," Queen said.
Han Sen nodded. He wanted to know what the vine was for, but he wasn't strong enough yet. If he had the chance in the future, perhaps he could use the fish king's power to fight the ancient vine.
The King Fish flowed down the river and joined the school of Angler Fish. Countless Angler Fish surrounded the King Fish and came over to kiss the wounds and blood stains on its body.
When each lantern fish kissed the wound on the fish king, they seemed to spit out some of the lantern light in their bodies. The light flowed into the fish king's body through the wound, causing the crimson gold in its body to light up again. Its vitality was also gradually recovering.
As more and more lantern fish gave their light to the fish king, the fish king's wounds began to heal. Gold scales began to grow.
After seeing this, Han Sen prepared to leave the fish king's back. Bao'er tugged at Han Sen and pointed at the fish king, saying, "Dad, it's giving us a ride."
"Giving us a ride?
Does it know where we are going? "Han Sen asked.
"It has seen people like us," Bao'er said.
Han Sen and Queen looked at each other. They didn't want to leave, so they sat on the back of the fish king. If they could find a shelter where humans could gather, that would be the best thing they could do.
The fish king's lifeforce returned, and it sped up. It swam through the waves and into the tributaries, taking Han Sen and the others downstream.
In less than a day, the fish king stopped in the middle of a river and swam to the shore.
Han Sen looked over, and he was overjoyed. By the river, Han Sen saw a few thistles of thorns. Although there were only a few, and most of them were ordinary plants, it meant there were thorns in the area. Perhaps they weren't too far away from Thorn Forest.
The three of them jumped onto the shore, and the fish king waved its tail at them. It swam a few laps in the water and left with the rest of the lantern fish.
"Bao'er, how do we find this fish king next time?"
Han Sen looked at the wide river. It was only a small tributary, and it was already so big. He didn't know where to find the fish king next time.
"It will go there again," Bao'er said with certainty. Her big eyes looked in the direction of the mountain, as if she did not want to give up.
There was nothing Han Sen could do. Even if he used Super King Spirit, it would be useless. He would be killed, just like the fish king.
Fortunately, the vine seemed to be afraid of something, and it did not leave the mountain. Otherwise, the fish king would have been killed.
"I'll have to wait until I become stronger before I come back for the vine." Han Sen carried Bao'er and walked along the river.
There were many trails along the river, and judging by the footprints, Han Sen could tell they belonged to humans.
After a dozen miles, Han Sen saw an old castle in the woods. In the woods, he could see humans hunting creatures.
"Friends, where did you come from?" A human saw Han Sen and approached him.
"Our shelter is near Thorn Forest. We wandered into it and lost our way. Do you know where we are?" Han Sen asked, trying to find out what was going on.
"You guys are really lucky. You actually passed through the Bramble Forest and didn't die. This is not ordinary luck." That person said with a face of surprise.
When Han Sen heard the man speak, he realized there really was a Thorn Forest there. He was overjoyed, and he asked the man for more details.
The forest was called the Forest of a Thousand Insects, and it was very close to Thorn Forest. On one side of the forest was Thorn Forest, and on the other three sides, there was a large body of water. There was only one noble shelter in the area, and for some reason, it had become empty. There were no spirits in the shelter, and humans had been randomly selected to live there.
Fortunately, although Thorn Forest and the water region were dangerous, the Forest of a Thousand Insects was relatively safe. The forest was very large, and there were many ordinary creatures, primitive creatures, and mutant creatures. It was very convenient for humans to live and evolve here. Humans were very lucky to be able to come here.
The three of them went to the shelter, and the people there were very friendly. Because there were not many people, and there were many resources nearby, the surpassers there did not compete with each other. They all helped each other to kill creatures to evolve. The atmosphere was very good.
Han Sen and Queen stayed in the shelter for a while. Han Sen returned to the Alliance to look for information. He wanted to know where he was in Thorn Forest, and if possible, he wanted to move the underground shelter there.
Han Sen wanted the beast vine on the mountain, too. So, it would be best if he could stay in that area.
