Not long after, Han Sen's eyes opened wide. The drop of blood turned blue inside the Nine-Life Cat's belly. The blue blood spread and dyed the entire Nine-Life Cat pendant blue.
After a while, the blue color of the Nine-Life Cat pendant faded away. It returned to its original red color. This was the same result as the letter said if the lock was not opened.
If the lock was opened, the blood wouldn't turn blue. It would remain red.
But Han Sen wasn't someone who believed things easily. He looked for other spirits and creatures, and he even asked for the blood of human surpassers, to test it out.
The results were one hundred percent accurate. No matter what color the blood of the spirits and creatures were, when it entered the Nine-Life Cat's mouth, it was absorbed and turned blue. Even Queen's blood was the same.

Han Sen placed the cauldron on the table, and they were all drawn to it. Han Sen looked at each of their faces, then slowly opened the lid to reveal the strange pill inside.
Four pairs of eyes looked at the pill, and Thorn Queen frowned. She didn't know what it was.
Little Angel didn't react, either. She just looked at the pill. He wasn't sure if she didn't know what it was, or if she didn't want to touch it without Han Sen's permission.
Little Silver jumped into the cauldron, but there was someone else who was faster than him.
Bao'er, who had been sitting on Han Sen's shoulder, grabbed the pill before Han Sen could stop her. Bao'er swallowed it.
Han Sen did not expect Bao 'er to be so fast, and it was too late to stop her. He looked at Bao' er nervously. He didn't want anything good to happen to her; he just wanted her to be safe.
But after Bao'er ate the pill, her body trembled. And then, nothing happened. It was as if the pill was useless.
Han Sen took Bao'er's blood to test, and the result was the same as everyone else's. It turned the Nine-Life Cat blue.
After a while, nothing happened to Bao'er. So, he took a drop of Bao'er's blood and fed it to the Nine-Life Cat. And then, something strange happened. Bao'er's blood was the same as Han Sen's, and the Nine-Life Cat pendant glowed red.
