Han Sen looked at the Nine-Life Cat pendant. Now, he was sure of two things. First, the pill was real, and second, he had unlocked the lock.
After that, Han Sen kept Bao'er close to him, but he didn't notice any change in her. It was the same as when he opened his Life Door.
"I'm glad you're okay." Han Sen was relieved to see that Bao'er was fine.
Han Sen spent most of his time practicing the Blood-Pulse Sutra. Once he opened the tenth gene lock, he was ready to become a demi-god.
Han Sen wasn't worried that the spirits would violate the Third Spirit Treaty after he left. After all, it was only one million miles. It wasn't a big place for the spirits, and Han Sen had many emperors and super creatures to protect it. Queen and Qin Xuan were also surpassers, so unless the spirits banded together again, they wouldn't be able to threaten the area they were in.
Another year passed in the Alliance, and Han Sen managed to open the tenth gene lock of the Blood-Pulse Sutra.
Just as he expected, the Blood-Pulse Sutra with ten gene locks had increased his strength, but it wasn't as good as Jadeskin when it came to fighting.
The reason he practiced the Blood-Pulse Sutra was because he wanted to be like the members of Blood Legion. He wanted to pass down the power of the Blood-Pulse Sutra from generation to generation.
After opening the tenth gene lock of the Blood-Pulse Sutra, Han Sen wasn't in a rush to become a demi-god. He spent some time with his mother and Ji Yanran.
The world of demi-gods was different from the other three sanctuaries. In Old Man Ji's words, becoming a demi-god was the beginning.
From Old Man Ji, Han Sen learned a lot about the Fourth God's Sanctuary. But even so, Han Sen didn't dare underestimate the place.
The Fourth God's Sanctuary was still a world of creatures and spirits, but it was different from the other three sanctuaries. Both creatures and spirits had the same starting point as humans. They had nothing in the Fourth God's Sanctuary, and they had to rely on their own power to conquer it.
In the Fourth God's Sanctuary, the shelters were independent. Each shelter had its own Demi-God Geno Core. Only by obtaining the Demi-God Geno Core could one claim the shelter and become the master of the shelter.
When humans became demi-gods, they could use their own genes to generate their own Demi-God Geno Cores. The more genes they collected, the stronger their Demi-God Geno Cores would become.
Of course, in the Fourth God's Sanctuary, it was possible to take the Demi-God Geno Cores of other creatures.
Every Demi-God Geno Core had a special power. Old Man Ji told Han Sen that, although Han Sen's fitness would be greater than that of ordinary demi-gods, he couldn't underestimate them.
A demi-god creature with a geno core, even if it was the weakest of them, could cause fatal damage to humans.
The power of a Demi-God Geno Core was infinite, and if you weren't careful, you'd die without even knowing how.
Han Sen listened to what Old Man Ji had to say, and the rest was up to fate.
Most humans used the Evolution Pool to become a demi-god. With one hundred geno points, they could become a demi-god. Then, they'd be teleported to the Fourth God's Sanctuary.
But there were still very few people who could become demi-gods. The environment in the Fourth God's Sanctuary was very harsh, and if you didn't max out your sacred geno points in the first three levels, you would die in the Fourth God's Sanctuary. There was no chance of survival.
Even if you maxed out your sacred geno points in the first three sanctuaries, you'd have the lowest chance of survival in the Fourth God's Sanctuary. Survival depended on luck and skill.
Humans had been in the sanctuary for two hundred years, and there were only three demi-gods known to exist. So far, the survival rate of humans in the Fourth God's Sanctuary was low.
Han Sen didn't plan on entering the Evolution Pool, though. He wanted to go up the stairs and enter the Fourth God's Sanctuary like the Xuan Men.
But it all depended on luck, too. Han Sen only hoped he wouldn't run into any particularly strong creatures or spirits in the Fourth God's Sanctuary. If he did, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to survive.
Han Sen accompanied Ji Yanran to many places she'd wanted to visit, and he didn't know when he'd be able to return.
If he couldn't find a shelter he could enter, he'd never be able to return.
Four months later, Han Sen returned to the Fourth God's Sanctuary. He was ready to go up the stairs and enter the Fourth God's Sanctuary.
After saying goodbye to his friends, Han Sen went to a place in the Infinite Sea where there was no one. He didn't want to alert anyone.
If the spirits weren't sure if he was still in the Third God's Sanctuary, they'd be afraid of him. They wouldn't cross Sky Mountain, and that was the last thing he wanted to do for his fellow humans in the Third God's Sanctuary.
Han Sen brought Little Angel and Golden Growler with him. As for the beast souls, he brought Little Angel and Golden Growler. As for the spirit, he only brought Moment Queen.
It wasn't that Han Sen didn't want to take more with him, but the baptism of the godfire was everywhere. Even in his Sea of Soul, he could be baptized by the godfire. If he couldn't make it through, he'd be turned to dust.
If Han Sen wasn't worried about Moment Queen's sinister nature, he would've kept her in the Third God's Sanctuary. After all, going to Sky Stairs was too dangerous, and he didn't want her to go with him.
The stronger the person who took the stairs, the stronger the fire would be. Moment Queen and the others would have to go through a baptism of fire that was far more difficult than they would have had to endure if they were to walk alone.
Han Sen wanted to keep Bao'er and the silver fox, but they didn't want to stay. They wanted to follow Han Sen. Han Sen thought about the Xuan Men's Heir, who was able to protect the skeleton. He wasn't any weaker than the Xuan Men's Heir, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for him to protect the silver fox and Bao'er.
As for Little Angel and Golden Growler, they were beast souls that Han Sen kept with him. He had fed them many treasures, and they had opened ten gene locks. They also had the ability to evolve, so Han Sen didn't want to leave them behind. So, he brought them along with him.
Han Sen gave the other spirits, creatures, and beast souls to his mother and Ji Yanran, so they could protect themselves in the Third God's Sanctuary.
Han Sen wasn't too worried about their safety, though. With Xie Qing King and the others taking care of them, and the Life Geno Essences that Han Sen had given them, he didn't think anyone in the Third God's Sanctuary would be able to harm them.
