Han Sen's face darkened when he saw Cheap Sheep. The word "boss" made Han Sen's teeth itch.
Seeing that it dared to show up again, Han Sen was ready to kick it away or barbecue it for himself.
But Cheap Sheep continued to run, and he said, "I found a bronze shelter. No one has claimed it yet. Let's go and claim it together. We'll be rich!"
"Where did you find the shelter?"
Han Sen put down his fist. Although the bronze shelter was the lowest level shelter, it was the one that Han Sen was most confident in taking down.
If there was a shelter that allowed people to enter the Alliance freely, it would be great for Han Sen.
"It's in an underground cave near Jade Hill. I'll take you there," Cheap Sheep said.
Han Sen and Dragon Lady looked at each other and understood what each other meant. If there really was a bronze shelter, they were going to claim it.
Although Han Sen was worried about Cheap Sheep's boss curse, he and Dragon Lady were still fine. So, they decided to let him lead them to the shelter first.
Cheap Sheep led the way and said, "When we take down the shelter, just give me two of the geno cores. Don't give me too many, though. I'll get cocky."
"Shut up! You're the f * cking boss. Your whole family is the boss."
The more Han Sen heard it call him boss, the more it sounded like a little ghost calling its soul. He couldn't help but curse.
Cheap Sheep was shocked, and he didn't say anything else. He just led the way, and after a while, they reached a tall grassy hill. Cheap Sheep pushed aside the grass and entered a hole. He said, "It's here."
Han Sen looked at the hole and frowned. The hole wasn't small, but one person wouldn't be able to enter it. He'd have to crawl to get there.
"There's a shelter here?
Are you trying to trick us? "Han Sen looked at Cheap Sheep with suspicion.
"Boss, our loyalty to you is as clear as day and moon. How could we possibly trick you? If we did, let us be struck by lightning and die a horrible death!" Sheep immediately swore a venomous oath.
After a discussion with Dragon Lady, the two of them decided to follow Cheap Sheep. First, Cheap Sheep wasn't a threat to them. Second, Cheap Sheep was leading the way. They didn't have to worry about it playing any tricks.
It was a dirt path, but it looked very solid. There was no need to worry about it collapsing. After ten minutes of climbing, the dirt path disappeared. It turned into a rock, and the ground was much wider. Han Sen and Dragon Lady were able to stand up and walk.
The path continued downward, and they didn't know where it led.
Fortunately, Han Sen and Dragon Lady had good eyesight. Even in that dark place, they could see as bright as day. They didn't have to worry about being ambushed.
"How far are we?"
After walking for an hour, there was still no sign of the shelter. Han Sen frowned and asked, "What?
Cheap Sheep smiled and said, "We're almost there. We're only a third of the way down. Hold on a little longer."
But since he was already there, he had no choice but to let Cheap Sheep continue to lead the way. Fortunately, Cheap Sheep hadn't lied. After half an hour of walking, they saw some light. They were out of the cave.
"Boss, the shelter is over there." After exiting the cave, Cheap Sheep raised his hooves and pointed ahead.
Han Sen and Dragon Lady looked in the direction he was pointing, and they saw a castle made of stone. But calling it a castle was a bit of an exaggeration. It was more like a villa.
Han Sen looked around, and he could see the sky above. There were cliffs on both sides, and they looked like they were in a canyon. The shelter was in the middle of the canyon.
It was built with green and grey rocks, and it looked like an old castle. The gate of the shelter was the gate of the castle.
Dragon Lady was the first to walk towards the castle. She had been in the Fourth God's Sanctuary for many years, but she had never had the chance to claim a shelter of her own. Although it was only a bronze shelter, it was still very tempting.
Cheap Sheep quickly followed. He knew Dragon Lady was easy to talk to, so he kept walking around her. He didn't dare get too close to Han Sen.
Han Sen, seeing that nothing was amiss, decided to follow. A shelter of this size had to be bronze class, which corresponded to servant class spirits. It was one of the lowest tiers of shelters.
But Han Sen only had a bronze geno core, and he wasn't sure if he'd be able to claim a silver shelter.
Dragon Lady pushed the bronze door open, and they were greeted by a large hall. In the middle of the hall, there was a rectangular table.
It was a long table, and it could only seat one person. There were five chairs on either side of the table, and it was large enough to seat eleven people.
On the dining table, there were some silver tableware. There were bowls, cups, plates, and pots. They all looked like they were made of silver.
On the plate, there were many fruits, roast goose, pork knuckles, and other dishes. In a small silver pot, there was a pot of meat stewing. The stove below was burning, causing the meat in the pot to constantly boil, emitting an alluring aroma.
Han Sen and Bao 'er gulped. They had been there for a long time, and the most they'd ever eaten was barbecue. They hadn't even eaten salt. They hadn't enjoyed a meal like this.
Han Sen reached out his hand to grab hold of Bao 'er. He didn't want her to pounce on him.
It was a strange place, and if it hadn't been claimed, there shouldn't have been any spirits or humans. There shouldn't have been any creatures, either.
"Has this shelter been claimed?" Han Sen thought to himself, and then he shouted, "Is the owner of this shelter here?"
Han Sen shouted a few times, but there was no response. It was as if there was no one there.
"Let's go inside," Dragon Lady said, and then she walked up the stairs.
Han Sen and Cheap Sheep followed. The three of them walked around the castle, but they couldn't find a single trace of a ghost.
The castle had four floors, and there were twenty rooms. Han Sen opened them all, but there was nothing there.
Strangely enough, they couldn't find the spirit statue, either. They couldn't find the teleporter, either.
"Weird. Is this not a shelter?" The three of them returned to the hall, and Han Sen frowned.
Dragon Lady wished to say something, but she suddenly heard a pang sound. The castle's door closed on its own. The candlesticks in the hall lit up on their own. They lit up the hall.
