"Who could it be?
I hope it's someone I know. If it's Old Man Ji, that'd be great, "Han Sen thought to himself.
But he knew the chances of that happening were low. Running into someone he knew in the Fourth God's Sanctuary was harder than winning the lottery.
Following the trail, Han Sen and the others continued to tread carefully. Along the way, Han Sen was able to detect the presence of other creatures.
Clearly, the chances of the shelter being a human shelter were low. There were humans, creatures, and spirits there, and there was very little trace of humans. It was likely that there was only one human in the shelter, so it was a complex shelter.
The shadow of a creature appeared at the foot of the mountain, and it alerted them. After a while, they noticed it was a green cow. It was grazing at the foot of the mountain.
Green Cow noticed Han Sen, too, and she was surprised to see them there.
Sheep took the initiative to take on the role of a diplomatic ambassador. He ran over and said with a smile, "Boss Niu, what is this place?
Who is the owner of this shelter? "
Green Cow said, "This is Shadow Mountain. The shelter is called Shadow Shelter, and the owner is a human. He calls himself Nan Litian."
Green Cow told Han Sen about the shelter, and she also told Cheap Sheep that Nan Litian welcomed creatures and spirits to Shadow Shelter.
He did not expect the owner of the shelter to be a human. As far as he knew, there were four shelters in the Fourth God's Sanctuary, but Shadow Shelter was not one of them.
If the owner was a human, he could've teleported back to the Alliance. Han Sen had never heard of a demi-god called Nan Litian, either.
"Is he a human demi-god who keeps a low profile?" Han Sen guessed.
According to Green Cow, Shadow Shelter was a gold shelter, and Nan Litian was one of the most powerful mutant creatures and royal spirits in existence.
But because Nan Litian had allowed creatures and spirits to join, Shadow Shelter's power had increased tremendously.
Joining and submitting were two different things. Joining Shadow Shelter didn't mean you had to submit to the authority of the shelter's owner. All you had to do was pay a price.
The conditions for joining Shadow Shelter were not harsh, though. You only had to pay a single primitive geno fruit per month, and you could live there. If you paid a few more, you could have a room of your own. That way, you wouldn't have to worry about being attacked by other creatures.
"Boss, if he's one of your kind, I'm sure we'll be taken care of," Cheap Sheep said.
Han Sen shook his head. Humans were sometimes more unreliable than xenogeneics. Han Sen just hoped the human in Shadow Shelter wasn't an enemy.
Entering the shelter required a primitive geno fruit, and there was no way he would be able to obtain one. So far, they had been traveling in ice, and there was no way he would be able to obtain a geno fruit.
Han Sen asked Green Cow if there was any way he could get his hands on some geno fruits.
Green Cow wasn't hostile, though. The scariest thing about the Fourth God's Sanctuary wasn't the spirits or creatures; it was the geno plants.
Many intelligent creatures had banded together to collect geno fruits safely.
After Han Sen finished asking, they prepared to leave. Green Cow said to Han Sen, "It looks like you guys are quite strong. Would you be interested in joining my team?
My team is made up of primitive creatures, but we're the best in this area. We're planning a big operation, and if we succeed, we'll be able to collect many geno fruits. "
Han Sen and Dragon Lady talked about it, and they weren't familiar with the area they were in.
"We'd love to join your team, but we don't have any geno fruits," Han Sen said to Green Cow.
Green Cow quickly said, "It's okay. If you guys want to join, I'll take care of it."
Green Cow was being generous, and Han Sen agreed to join. Green Cow would pay for Han Sen's entry to Shadow Shelter.
Green Cow happily took Han Sen and the others to Shadow Shelter, and as they walked, she told them about the place.
Shadow Shelter was a gold shelter. It was the size of an ancient city, and there were many different types of creatures and spirits coming and going.
However, those who could appear here were all highly intelligent lifeforms, and there were no instances of them attacking other lifeforms.
"Old Cow, you've tricked so many people into coming back."
When they reached the gate of the shelter, a spirit spoke to Green Cow with a smile on his face.
Han Sen and Dragon Lady looked at Green Cow, unsure of what the spirit meant.
Green Cow quickly explained, "Don't listen to him! I haven't tricked anyone."
The spirit smiled and went on to say, "You tricked so many people into joining your team, and then you went to Hidden Valley to die. There must have been at least a hundred that followed you there.
How many of them made it back alive? "
After that, the spirit turned to Han Sen and said, "I advise you to stay away from it. Don't follow it to your deaths."
"Green Bull, what's going on?" Sheep immediately shouted at Green Bull.
"Listen to me. Let's go in and find a place where I can explain. Don't worry, if you don't want to go, I won't force you," Green Cow said.
Han Sen wasn't surprised, though. Green Cow didn't know anything about them, and she was inviting them to join her team. Han Sen knew something was up.
Han Sen wasn't afraid of a primitive creature, and he wanted to see what Green Cow was up to. Plus, Green Cow could pay for their geno fruit, so he didn't say anything.
"Let's go in, then," Han Sen said.
Green Cow was happy, and she paid for Han Sen's geno fruit. Then, she led Han Sen and the others into Shadow Shelter. They went to Green Cow's room.
The creatures and spirits they encountered along the way all looked at them strangely. It seemed as if Green Cow was very famous in Shadow Shelter.
