Han Sen was surprised to see the woman sitting on the sofa. She was one of the elders of the Demi-God Association, the one who had not spoken a word.
"Why are you here?"
After he asked the question, he realized the man was probably mute. He couldn't speak.
"I'm here to see you."
But what surprised him the most was that the woman spoke. Her voice wasn't husky, and it wasn't as sweet as a young girl's. It was a normal woman's voice, but it was pleasant to the ears. It made people feel close to her.
"You can talk?" Han Sen looked at the woman with shock.
"Who told you I can't speak?" The woman looked at Han Sen with interest.
"I've only heard that you haven't spoken before. I guess I misunderstood," Han Sen said with a shrug.
The woman did not dwell on the subject. She looked at him for a while and said, "You are different from Han Jinzhi."
Han Sen was confused. He didn't know why she would suddenly say something like that, and he didn't know what she was referring to.
Did she mean that he looked different from Han Jingzhi?
If that was the case, it made sense. He wasn't Han Jingzhi's heir, and even if he was, he was the third generation.
But who was this Han Jingzhi she was talking about? Was it his great-grandfather, Han Jingzhi? Or was it Instructor Han from the Blueblood Special Forces?
"Is this Han Jingzhi the same Instructor Han from the Blueblood Special Forces?" Han Sen asked.
The woman nodded and said, "You are very different from him."
"Of course, I'm not related to him. How could we be the same?"
Han Sen was surprised. She must have known Han Jinzhi, and that meant she was a member of the seventh team. She was most likely the woman Uncle Bug had told him about, the one who had not made a wish.
The woman looked at him with disdain, and she said, "You're going to tell your great-grandfather that he's a stranger. You people are just as shameless."
Han Sen frowned, and he said, "What do you mean?
My great-grandfather is Han Jingzhi, but he has nothing to do with the Blueblood Special Forces. He's just an ordinary employee. "
When the woman heard that, she looked even more disdainful. "The Han family's tricks can fool others, but not me. It doesn't matter if you admit it or not. You are his heir, and there are things you cannot run away from. Think about how you will survive if they find out about your relationship with Han Jinzhi."
"Who would want to kill me?" Han Sen's heart jumped. He did not explain who he was, so he asked a question instead.
"You know better than me who would want to kill you," the woman said.
"If you're going to talk to me like this, I don't think there's any need for us to continue this conversation."
Han Sen looked at the woman and slowly said, "I don't know how you know I am related to Instructor Han of the Blueblood Special Forces. All I know is that my great-grandfather was a lowly employee. He had nothing to do with the Blueblood Special Forces."
The woman looked at him strangely. It was as if she was looking at a Chinese person who did not speak Chinese. It was weird.
"You really don't know?" the woman asked, looking at Han Sen.
"If you know anything, you can tell me," Han Sen said.
The woman looked at Han Sen and said, "It doesn't matter if you know or don't know. You're a demi-god now, and it's only a matter of time before they find out you're a demi-god. You should be prepared."
After pausing, the woman looked at Han Sen and went on to say, "Fortunately, you are different from Han Jinzhi. Perhaps there is still a chance for you to live."
Han Sen was confused, as he had heard her say this many times. Han Sen didn't know what she was talking about.
But right now, he was more concerned about something else. He looked at the woman and asked, "Who is this' they 'you are talking about?
Blood Legion? "
The woman seemed to be numb to Han Sen's ignorance, and she said, "Increase your power as much as you can. I hope you'll still have a chance to live when you meet them."
After that, the woman stood up and walked to the door.
Han Sen asked, "Can you at least tell me who they are?"
The woman didn't answer him, though. She just walked out of the room. Han Sen ran to the door, but she was nowhere to be seen.
"What a powerful woman. What is she trying to do?
Does she really think I'm a descendant of Instructor Han?
Or is she just testing me? "Han Sen thought to himself.
People in Han Jingzhi's time didn't think he was a descendant of Han Jingzhi, and Han Jingzhi couldn't have children.
But the woman was adamant that he was Han Jinzhi's heir. That made Han Sen think he had nothing to do with Han Jinzhi, and he was starting to get suspicious.
But that didn't make sense. Instructor Han had blue blood. If he was a member of Blood Legion, Han Sen's family should have inherited some blue blood as well. But none of them had blue blood.
"These people are too full of themselves. Can't they at least explain themselves?"
Han Sen was used to the arrogance of the older generation, so he was able to face it.
As long as the people of that generation weren't all dead, the truth would come out one day.
Regardless of whether or not the woman was telling the truth, there was one thing Han Sen agreed with her. He needed to increase his power as quickly as possible.
After returning home, Han Sen logged into the Demigod Association's virtual community. There was a lot of information provided by the demigods, and most of it was about maps and geno cores.
There was a lot more to it than what Old Master Ji had told him.
But the Demigod Association's maps did not include where Han Sen was.
That was normal. The Fourth God's Sanctuary was vast, and there were only three digits of humans in it. They had only been to a limited number of places.
Even Han Sen didn't know how big the Third God's Sanctuary was. The Fourth God's Sanctuary couldn't be smaller than the Third God's Sanctuary.
When Han Sen returned to the shelter, he found that Dragon Lady and Cheap Sheep were not there. They had gone out to hunt, and only Red Pony was in the room.
Han Sen took Red Pony and Bao'er to the shelter's entrance. He wanted to hunt, too.
"Nan Litian is back!"
When he reached the gate of the shelter, he could hear the spirits and creatures talking. Everyone was looking at the gate.
