The spirit returned to the spirit stone. Han Sen had expected this, but he wasn't disappointed. He went to the peak of Wind Mountain and opened up his umbrella. He waved it through the black sand, revealing the gecko beneath it.
The giant gecko was on the verge of death. The black sand had already entered its body, making it look like a stuffed doll. It was bloated and swollen.
Blood and black sand flowed out of his mouth, ears, eyes, and nose. His internal organs were basically all destroyed.
Han Sen pulled out the horn and pierced its heart, killing it instantly.
"Mutant Creature Furnace Beast killed. Beast soul gained. Gold Geno Core gained: Moon Pill. Consume its flesh to gain zero to ten mutant geno points randomly."
Han Sen was overjoyed. He had obtained a beast soul and a geno core, as well as the flesh of Furnace Beast and Think Me Ming Camel. It was a great haul.
Han Sen summoned the Dark Unicorn and used his Gold Dragon Lock to bind the two mutant creatures together. Then, he brought them back to the shelter.
There was a lot of meat, and it was enough for Han Sen to eat for a few days. Han Sen wasn't in a rush to hunt, though, so he waited for Cheap Sheep and Green Cow to find a suitable target.
He had been living like this for more than a month and had almost finished eating the meat of the two mutant creatures. He had gained 16 mutant geno points, making his total mutant geno points to 25.
One day, Han Sen was training Red Pony and Starsea Beast in the plaza of the shelter. Starsea Beast was sitting there with its eyes wide open, trying to learn from Han Sen. It looked like a well-behaved baby.
"Ah... Oh... Uh..." Han Sen pointed at the letters on the blackboard with a bamboo stick and read them word by word.
"Oh … Oh … Oh …" Little Starsea Beast craned its neck and tried to learn, but the sound it made was the same. There was no difference.
Han Sen felt depressed. Not all demi-god creatures could speak, and it seemed as if Starsea Beast and Red Pony had no talent for language. He had been teaching them for a long time, but they hadn't even learned how to pronounce the words.
"Even if you two are rocks, I'm going to teach you how to speak. Repeat after me. Oh … Oh … Oh …" Han Sen wanted to practice with them, so he could teach his son.
Red Pony wasn't paying attention, and it only made a few noises. Starsea Beast was trying very hard, but it didn't have the talent to do so. Its voice sounded like oh oh oh.
Suddenly, a scary presence came from outside the shelter. Although it couldn't be seen, Han Sen felt as if the entire shelter had been enveloped. His face changed.
Han Sen flew to the gate of the shelter and saw Qing Le following behind another spirit. They were only five hundred meters away from the entrance of the shelter.
The scary presence was coming from that unknown spirit. When Han Sen saw Qing Le and the spirit, he knew he would have to go to that strange shelter, unless he abandoned Shadow Shelter.
"Qing Le, I have been waiting for you for a long time." Han Sen saw Qing Le and the other spirit approach the gate, and so he smiled.
When Qing Le and the spirit heard Han Sen and saw the smile on Han Sen's face, they were shocked. Qing Le looked at the spirit and then looked at Han Sen and asked, "You knew I was coming?"
"Last time, I was delayed by something, so I couldn't meet up with you. Now that you're here, it must be because of that.
I am willing to join your team, but I want fifty god class bases. Do you think that's a good price? "Han Sen smiled.
"Didn't I say thirty?" Qing Le and the spirit looked at each other, and then said, "Didn't I say thirty?"
Things had taken them by surprise. They wanted to take Han Sen away by force, but they didn't expect him to say he wanted to go with them. That made it difficult for them to do anything about it.
After all, a person who was willing to go with them was better than someone who was forced to go with them. They wouldn't be hostile, and things would be easier to do.
"Last time, if I went with you, thirty wouldn't have been a problem.
But I didn't go last time, and now you're here looking for me. That means the people who went last time must have failed. That means my risk has increased. Fifty isn't too much, is it? "Han Sen said.

Yu Xuan nodded and said, "You are a smart person. I like working with smart people. We don't have much time, so pack up and we'll go now."
"Okay."
Han Sen returned to the shelter and took Bao'er back to the Alliance. The shelter was too strange, and Bao'er wasn't a pure human. Han Sen didn't want her to be in danger, so he didn't want to bring her along.
Han Sen told them about the shelter, and then he followed Yu Xuan to the strange shelter. He didn't bring anyone with him this time, and he followed them to the strange shelter.
On the way, Qing Le and Yu Xuan explained the situation to Han Sen.
The last time they sent twenty-nine humans into the strange shelter, only three of them made it out alive. But those three were now dead.
Of the twenty-nine humans, many had managed to generate gemstone geno cores, but none had made it out alive. It was a dangerous place.
And it wasn't just the twenty-nine of them. Sacred had sent some humans in as well, but the results were even worse. Only one of them made it out alive, and he died soon after.
Sacred and Outer Sky did not have that many humans, so the two factions decided to work together to explore the shelter one last time. If they couldn't find anything useful, they'd have to give up on the idea of taking over the shelter.
