The Redhead Cricket struggled a bit, but it was unable to break free. Suddenly, its ruby head began to shine, and something appeared above its head.
Han Sen took a closer look and saw that it was a ruby cogwheel. It was one meter in diameter, and when it appeared, it started to spin like a cutter. It cut through the Holy Vine that bound the Redhead Cricket.
The hard Holy Vine was cut open. It only took a few seconds for the Holy Vine, which was as thick as an arm, to be severed by the rotating ruby sawtooth.
Han Sen turned around and ran. He was no match for the red-headed cricket, and there weren't many creatures around that could provide the Coin geno core's power to suppress the red-headed cricket. If he stayed there, he'd die.
Han Sen wanted to run as far as he could before the Redhead Cricket was free. He wanted to wait until the Redhead Cricket cut through the Holy Vine, so it wouldn't be able to find him.
But things did not go as he wished. After running for two thousand meters, he heard a squeaking sound behind him. The red-headed cricket had broken free and was coming after him.
The scariest thing was that the ruby cogwheel was still spinning above the red-headed cricket's head. If it caught up with him, things would only get worse. If the ruby cogwheel could cut through the Holy Vine, Han Sen's body would be cut in half.
Han Sen ran as fast as he could, but he couldn't stop the Redhead Cricket from getting closer and closer. Han Sen was depressed, though, because he had reached the end of the tunnel. There was only a stone wall, and there was no path forward.
"D * mn it!"
Han Sen cursed in his heart, but he kept looking left and right to see if there was a cave that could lead him to another location.
There were many caves in the underground world, but there was not a single crack in such a large stone wall. There were uneven protrusions everywhere.
Han Sen turned around and ran to the left. Fortunately, the cave was big, so he didn't have to run back and fight the Redhead Cricket.
But Han Sen stopped after a few steps. It wasn't because he was in danger, and there was nothing blocking his way. It was because the Redhead Cricket had stopped thirty meters away from him. It was staring at him, but it didn't come any closer.
If Han Sen ran back, he'd get closer to it. So, Han Sen had to stop.
The Redhead Cricket squeaked at Han Sen, but it didn't come any closer. Han Sen thought it was strange. While Han Sen was wondering, Bao 'er suddenly said, "Dad, look behind you!"
"Behind me?
Isn't that a stone wall? "
Han Sen was confused, but he still looked behind him.... Han Sen was shocked by what he saw.
The uneven spots on the wall looked like stones the size of millstones. But now, Han Sen was able to see that they weren't stones. They were shellfish that looked like stones.
The giant shellfish that were embedded in the stone walls had already opened their shells, revealing the bright red flesh inside.
The wall was a few hundred meters long, and the shellfish were everywhere. They were all open, revealing the red meat. It was a strange and spectacular sight.
Inside some of the shellfish, Han Sen saw pearl-like beads. They were much bigger than the pearls of the Alliance, and they were the size of a man's fist. They were pink and pretty.
Han Sen didn't want to collect the pearls. He didn't know what level the shellfish were, but there had to be a reason why the Redhead Cricket hadn't come any closer. It had to be the shellfish.
Han Sen scanned them with his Dongxuan Aura, and he noticed that the shellfish weren't as scary as he thought. Many of them were primitive or mutant class, and some were sacred-blood class.
That didn't seem to be enough to scare the Redhead Cricket. Han Sen didn't know why the Redhead Cricket had stopped.
Han Sen didn't know what to do now. The Redhead Cricket was behind him, and there was a dead end in front of him. There was also a wall of shellfish, and although they weren't very high-level, if the Redhead Cricket didn't want to get close to them, there had to be something strange about them. The shellfish had to have some sort of special power that scared super creatures.
As Han Sen was thinking, he saw the meat inside the shellfish reach out like tongues. They were getting longer and longer, and they were reaching for Han Sen.
It was really hard to imagine what kind of strange scene it would be to have hundreds of meters of stone walls filled with tongues reaching towards you.
The tongues were getting longer and longer, and they were like the tongues of a hanged man.
Han Sen looked at the meat, and then at the Redhead Cricket. He pulled out Taia and swung it at one of the tongues.
The lifeforce of the shellfish wasn't very strong, so even if it was dangerous, Han Sen could deal with it. But there was no way he could beat the Redhead Cricket.
Taia's sharpness was not very useful in the Fourth God's Sanctuary, but its hardness was still useful there. If Han Sen used enough power, he could still wield a lot of power.
With Han Sen's strength and Taia, he was able to cut through the tongue-like meat. The meat that had been cut off fell to the ground, and it wriggled like a snake. After that, it stopped moving.
The rest of the meat was covered in a pink liquid, and it retreated back into the shell.
"It's just a mutant creature. It doesn't look that strong." Han Sen was happy, as the shellfish were weaker than he had expected.
Han Sen swung Taia and cut the tongues that were coming for him. After a while, he cut through a lot of the meat, and the tongue-like meat no longer dared to come for him.
"These shellfish don't seem to have any special powers.
They are weak, too. What is the Redhead Cricket afraid of? "Han Sen looked at the Redhead Cricket.
He discovered that the Red-Headed Cricket was actually retreating further away from the stone wall.
Han Sen was shocked, and he knew there was more to the shellfish than met the eye.
Before Han Sen could turn around, the whole cave started to shake. It was like an earthquake, and rocks started to fall from above.
Han Sen dodged the falling rocks and looked at the wall. What he saw made Han Sen's eyes open wide. He turned around and ran for the Redhead Cricket.
Han Sen now knew what the Redhead Cricket was afraid of. He would rather face the Redhead Cricket than something so scary.
