Although they had the fairy's power to protect them, the deeper they went into the forest, the colder they felt. Even the fairy's power was unable to block the cold.
Fortunately, most of the cold air was blocked out by the fairy. Some of it seeped in, and with their fitness and power, they were able to block it.
But Han Sen kept looking around. He ran his Dongxuan Aura to the max, trying to find the source of the spying sensation.
But the Frozen Forest was strange. It was no wonder it was part of God's Ruin. Han Sen's Dongxuan Aura could only extend a hundred meters. He couldn't sense anything beyond that, and he couldn't tell where the spying sensation came from.
The deeper they went into the Frozen Forest, the stronger the feeling of being watched. Han Sen frowned. Being watched by something in God's Ruin wasn't a good thing.
"The rules of the sanctuaries are very strict. There shouldn't be any creatures above this level that can stay in the Fourth God's Sanctuary for long," Han Sen thought to himself.
Just as he was thinking, Little Fairy suddenly shouted, "Everyone, be careful. There seems to be something up ahead."
Han Sen, Little Silver, and Starsea Beast looked in the direction Little Fairy was pointing. They saw something moving in the Frozen Forest.
Dongxuan Aura was useless there, so Han Sen had to rely on his primitive vision to see what was going on, just like Little Silver and the others.
Since they were already there, they couldn't go back. They looked at Little Fairy and continued forward. They were careful, though, and they wanted to see what it was.
After walking for a while, the shadow in the forest became clearer. It was a one-meter-tall seahorse. Its body looked like it had been carved out of ice jade. It floated in the air, and it moved forward as if it were swimming in the sea. It didn't make a sound when it moved.
The Ice Seahorse saw them, too, but it didn't seem to be hostile. It continued to travel through the forest.
"Daddy, look over there … there are so many seahorses … so beautiful …" Bao 'er pointed to the other side of the forest and cried out happily.
Han Sen quickly looked over.
In the direction that Bao 'er was pointing, there was a group of twenty or thirty Ice Seahorses floating in the air.
There were big ones and small ones.
The small ones were like the one from before, and they were around a meter tall.
The big ones were around three or four meters tall.
They all had their backs bent as they moved forward.
It was a very interesting sight.
The Ice Seahorses seemed to be very gentle. Although they saw Han Sen and the others, they weren't hostile. They just kept moving forward.
Han Sen's Dongxuan Aura was under the influence of God's Ruin's power. He couldn't tell how strong they were, either.
Bao 'er squealed happily. She jumped out of Han Sen's arms and landed on the back of a small Ice Seahorse. She hugged the Ice Seahorse's neck as if she was riding a horse.
Han Sen was shocked. He wanted to call Bao 'er back. The Ice Seahorses looked very gentle, but who knew if they would still be so gentle when they were angered?
Little Fairy suddenly made a noise. Han Sen looked at her, and he saw her staring at the back of the Ice Seahorses. It was as if she had seen a ghost.
Han Sen looked over, too. He was shocked. Behind the Ice Seahorses, there was another group of seahorses.
The seahorses were bigger. They were more than four meters tall, and their bodies were like black diamonds. Their bodies looked like they were made of ice. They were completely different from the Ice Seahorses from before.
The strangest thing was that the Black Seahorses had chains that were as thick as an adult's arm. They were black, and they looked like they were made of iron. There were some weird symbols and symbols on them.
There weren't many Black Seahorses. Han Sen counted them, and there were eleven of them. They were all the same size, and they floated in the air. They weren't as sloppy as the Ice Seahorses from before. They were in a weird formation, and they moved forward in an orderly manner. Even the rhythm of their bodies was the same.
Behind the Black Seahorses, the chains were all connected to something. It was a big, black furnace that looked like iron. It was seven or eight meters tall, and there was an icy fire coming out of the furnace's vent. It was like there was a fire burning inside the furnace.
But Han Sen and the others couldn't feel any warmth from the furnace. The closer they got to the furnace, the colder they felt. It was like the furnace wasn't emitting heat, but an icy air.
The icy air was getting stronger and stronger. Even with the fairy's protection, Han Sen and the others felt as if they were frozen. Even the fairy was shivering. Even with her ice element, she couldn't resist the icy air.
Han Sen and the others tried to use their powers to fight against the icy air, but it wasn't working. They were all shivering from the cold.
"Let's hide for a while. We'll come back when the furnace is over," Han Sen said.
The fairy nodded. Everyone wanted to leave, but their bodies wouldn't listen to them. They didn't know when, but they were all frozen. Their legs were covered in a layer of frost.
Quickly, the frost spread from their legs to their bodies. They couldn't move, and they felt as if they were robots. They could only move a little.
Only Bao 'er, who was sitting on the back of an Ice Seahorse, was fine. She was still playing around.
Everyone was shocked. Han Sen quickly summoned his God geno core. A pair of ruby wings appeared on his back, and his body glowed red.
The powerful power pushed out the icy air, and Han Sen was no longer affected by the ice.
Just as Han Sen was about to take the silver fox and the others with him, he thought. He didn't want the cold air to affect their bodies, but all of a sudden, the Black Seahorses stopped pulling the furnace. They all turned to look at him.
Han Sen's heart jumped, and he thought to himself, "Oh, no! The bird that pokes its head out gets shot. Is my performance making them hostile?"
But Han Sen quickly realized that the Black Seahorses weren't looking at him. They were looking at Bao 'er, who had jumped back onto Han Sen's shoulder.
Bao 'er wasn't affected by the icy air. She sat on Han Sen's shoulder and swung her legs. She looked at the Black Seahorses and the furnace they were pulling with curiosity.
