Just looking at it gave Han Sen quite a shock. Inside the big furnace, there was a pair of eyes staring back at him.
Fortunately, Han Sen had been through a lot, so he was able to calm himself down. He did not look away, and instead, he looked at the owner of the eyes.
But he couldn't see it clearly because the owner of the eyes was wearing a suit of armor. It was as black as a big iron furnace. He sat cross-legged inside the big iron furnace. Only his eyes were exposed. The rest of his body couldn't be seen. But from his general appearance, he was no different from a human.
"Human?
Is it a spirit or a humanoid creature? "Han Sen had a few thoughts, but his eyes were still locked on the eyes of the armor.
Bao 'er climbed onto Han Sen's shoulder. She moved closer to the vent and looked at the armored creature inside the furnace. She was very curious about what was inside.
Not long after, Little Fairy, Little Jade Lion King, Little Silver, and Little Star all came over. Both of them looked into the big furnace.
The eyes inside the big furnace did not move. They stared at Han Sen and ignored Little Fairy and the others. It was as if they didn't exist.
Han Sen's heart jumped. Being stared at by those eyes, he felt as if he was being watched. He was shocked and thought, "Does this mean the creature inside the big furnace has been watching me ever since I entered God's Ruin?"
Being stared at by those eyes, Han Sen started to wonder if those eyes were looking at all the creatures in the world. Or if they were just looking at him.
Han Sen thought all the creatures that entered God's Ruin would be watched. Now, the eyes were only looking at him. They did not care about anyone else. This made Han Sen start to doubt his earlier assumptions.
Little Fairy and the others were frozen when they saw the creature inside. They thought there might be treasure inside, but they didn't expect it to be a living creature.
But when they thought about it again, they were shocked. The big furnace was burning with a scary ice flame. They had seen how strong the ice demon was, and they couldn't even get close to it.
But the creature was sitting inside the big furnace, and they didn't know how long it had been burned by the ice flame. That alone was enough to show how scary the creature inside the furnace was.
The few of them were shocked, and they didn't know if they should leave. The creature inside the big furnace had seen them, and if he screamed and alerted the Black Seahorses, they wouldn't even know how they died.
Even though Little Jade Lion King and Little Star were super class, against eleven Black Seahorses, there was no chance they could win.
Before they could turn their thoughts of leaving into action, they heard a whining sound not too far away. It gave Han Sen a shock.
They turned around and saw a meter-tall Ice Seahorse. It was unknown when it had run into the sea of clouds, but it was puffing its cheeks. Its mouth was like a trumpet, and it was whining at Han Sen.
It didn't seem to be hostile, though. It blinked and looked at Han Sen with curiosity.
But when it started to whine, the Black Seahorses and Ice Seahorses in the distance stopped what they were doing. Dozens of pairs of big eyes looked over.
"Run!" Han Sen shouted and ran.
He was very strong, but he was only super class. The eleven Black Seahorses were all super class, and they could be even stronger. Plus, there was the unknown creature inside the big furnace and the Ice Seahorses. If a fight broke out, Han Sen and the others would be in trouble.
Han Sen and the others ran down the mountain as fast as they could. The little Ice Seahorse followed them.
When the eleven Black Seahorses saw them, they were enraged. They chased after them, and their speed was scary. They were much faster than the super class Jade Little Lion.
"Oh no! These Black Seahorses are too scary. If they catch us, we're dead."
Little Lion King looked back, and he was shocked. The Black Seahorse had only just caught up to them, and it wasn't too far behind them.
Han Sen gritted his teeth. He grabbed Bao'er and Little Silver and jumped onto Starsea Beast's back. He shouted, "Get on! Little Star, run!"
The little fairy jumped up, too. Then, the little ice seahorse jumped up, too. It looked like they were having a lot of fun.
Starsea Beast used its Starsea Travel ability. Starlight surrounded it like a galaxy, and it sped up.
"Wait for me!"
Jade Little Lion King leaped forward, but he was too big. All he could do was grab onto Starsea Beast's tail.
The starlight shone, and Starsea Beast's body went straight into the glacier. The Black Seahorses missed, and when they hit the glacier, they broke it.
But the Black Seahorses didn't give up. Starsea Beast continued to travel through the glacier, and they followed. They weren't any slower than Starsea Beast.
Aside from the Black Seahorses, the rest of the Ice Seahorses chased after them, too. They kept making weird noises.
Dong!
Just as the Black Seahorse was about to fly into the clouds, the chains of the chimenea flew out and wrapped around the Black Seahorse's necks. They couldn't go any further, and because of the chains, they were pulled back to the side of the chimenea. They whimpered angrily, but they couldn't break free of the chains.
The Ice Seahorses were still chasing after Starsea Beast, but after Starsea Beast went through the iceberg and a few more mountains, the Ice Seahorses were nowhere to be seen.
In the beginning, they could still hear the Ice Seahorses' noises, but soon, they couldn't even hear them.
"Starsea Beast really is a great escape tool."
Han Sen complimented him. Now that Starsea Beast was super class, its Starsea Travel ability was even stronger.
Starsea Beast stopped on an ice field, and everyone dismounted. Jade Little Lion King looked at Starsea Beast and complimented him. "Brother, you can travel through matter. That is so strong."
The little Ice Seahorse that had been brought along was in a panic. It was like a child who couldn't find its mother, and it kept running around. It kept making noises, as if it was calling for its family.
But they were far away from the Ice Seahorses. No matter how much it cried, the Ice Seahorses wouldn't be able to hear it.
Bao 'er jumped onto the little Ice Seahorse's back and stroked its head with her chubby hands. "Good boy. Don't be scared. Bao' er is here with you."
The little Ice Seahorse whimpered and rubbed its head against the Bao 'er. It was like it had found someone to rely on, and it wasn't as helpless as before.
