Inside Black Gold Group's base, Hardman, Lena, Guris, Mister Tiger, and Allan were watching a video.
The video showed Han Sen running into the xenogeneics, and then Han Sen being chased into the building.
Because the video wasn't taken from one perspective, it was taken from many different perspectives. So, it was a bit messy.
Even so, Hardman and the others found it hard to believe. Han Sen's speed and power were only at the level of a geno armor soldier, but he had been able to survive the pursuit of the xenogeneics for so long. It was a miracle he hadn't been injured.
"What do you guys think?" After watching the video, Hardman looked at Guris, Mister Tiger, and Allan.
Mister Tiger and Allan were Barons. Guris wasn't a Noble, but he was very experienced. They were the ones with the most authority in the Black Gold Group.
"This is an interesting person. His power and speed are normal, and his skills are normal. Ordinary geno armor soldiers can do the same, but he keeps dodging the xenogeneics' attacks. It looks like he's just lucky.
But I don't think that's the case. He was lucky this time, but luck can't happen to him again and again. He must have something special about him, "Allan said.
"Are you saying that this seemingly lucky dodge is actually a skill?" Hardman asked after a moment of thought.
Mister Tiger thought for a moment and said, "It might not be a skill. It might be an instinct. Many creatures are born with fighting instincts. Perhaps this is his race's talent."
Hardman nodded and looked at Guris. "What do you think?"
"I think he is special," Guris said after a moment of thought.
"Be more specific," Hardman said.
Guris was silent for a while, and then he said, "He doesn't feel like a new soldier. He feels like he's been through a lot. He's been through a lot, and he's been through a lot."
"He has only just generated his geno armor. How much experience can he have?
You think too highly of him, Commander Guris, "Lena couldn't help but say.
"Of course, this is just my feeling. It might not be accurate," Guris said coldly.
"General Manager Ha, if possible, I hope you can keep this person." Allen suddenly said.
"Why?" Hardman looked at Allen in surprise. Allen was a man who rarely said such things.
"An interesting guy, and he's also useful. It's not a bad thing to stay," Alan said casually.
"I'll think about it." Hardman nodded.
The fight that day ended with Mister Tiger killing the xenogeneic. Han Sen said the xenogeneic chased him into the building and then disappeared. He had no idea where the xenogeneic had gone.
Guris and Mister Tiger ordered their troops to search the valley a few times, but they were unable to find another xenogeneic. So, they returned to base.
Both Suo Tu and Lung expressed their gratitude to Han Sen. After that battle, Han Sen received a lot of attention from the hunting squad. The way the soldiers looked at him changed.
Han Sen didn't think much of it, though. He had been through this a lot in the sanctuaries, and he didn't care much about it.
Han Sen looked up a lot of information on the internet, but he couldn't find anything about xenogeneic genes. Most people didn't even know they existed. That information was in the hands of high-class people and nobles. Ordinary people didn't have access to it.
He didn't know much about the Nine-Life Cat, either. All he knew was that the Nine-Life Cat was the name of a ferocious beast.
But the concept of a monster was too broad, and Han Sen didn't know anything about it.
Han Sen wanted to get rid of the ten nails, but before he could do so, someone told him to go to the general manager's office.
Han Sen went to Hardman's office, and he was familiar with the place.
When Hardman saw Han Sen, he smiled and said, "Han Sen, there was a misunderstanding. Please don't take it to heart. If you have any requests, I will do my best to fulfill them."
"Don't be so polite, Mr. Hardman. Just tell me what you want," Han Sen said coldly.
Hardman nodded and smiled. "Then I'll get straight to the point. This is the contract the company has prepared for you. Take a look, and if you have no problems, you can sign up and become an official member of the Black Gold Hunting Squad."
Han Sen picked up the contract and looked it over. The conditions were good, and the pay was good. It was much better than what an ordinary soldier would receive.
"Boss Hardman, according to the contract we signed, I can't refuse to sign with Black Gold for another year. But I remember there is a clause in the contract that says I have to be given the same treatment as the core members of the Nobles." Han Sen put down the contract and looked at Hardman.
Hardman smiled and said, "Brother Han, you are very good. I would like to give you a better contract, but you are not a Noble. If I give you the same treatment, the Nobles will have a problem with that. You have to understand."
"If that's the case, I have the right to refuse," Han Sen said calmly.
Hardman's face changed, but he quickly returned to normal. He smiled and said, "Brother Han, think about it. This is a very good contract. Most geno armor soldiers won't be able to get a contract like this even if they work their entire lives."
"I'm not an ordinary soldier. You can give me a Noble contract, or you can let me leave. I'm fine with that," Han Sen said.
Hardman saw that Han Sen had made up his mind, and there was no chance of negotiating. He gritted his teeth and said, "Okay, we'll give you a Noble contract. But look at how much I've done for you. Giving a soldier without a geno weapon a contract like this will put a lot of pressure on the board. Can you extend the contract for ten years?"
He hadn't expected Hardman to be so generous as to offer him a contract that only Nobles were allowed to.
"Ten years is too long." Han Sen shook his head. He had only signed with Hardman for one year.
"Eight years, then. It'll be hard for me. I'll be under a lot of pressure," Hardman said.
Han Sen paused for a moment, then said, "I can only sign for two years."
"Okay, then."
Hardman had the legal department prepare a contract, and he signed it for two years. He was going to be treated like a noble, just like Mister Tiger and the others.
After Han Sen left, Hardman called a number and said, "Qiao, I have his two-year contract. We can trade now."
