The car came to a stop in front of the western road.
The car was as heavy as a truck, and it stopped on the road. The body of the car was shaking, as if some force was pulling it to the west.
Third Master and Han Sen got out of the car, and Mister Tiger said, "This is as far as we can go. If we go any further, even a few tons of metal will be sucked into that bottomless pit."
"Let's go. Let's take a look at that bottomless pit before it gets dark." Third Master made an inviting gesture, and then he walked with Han Sen towards the pit.
Aside from Han Sen and Mister Tiger, there were two other Kate following Third Master. They were Nobles, and they were Barons. But they were much stronger than Mister Tiger.
But Han Sen did not care about the two elites. From what Han Sen could see, the third master was the real elite. Regardless of power or ability, he was far superior to the two elites.
As they walked, Han Sen saw shadows in the forest. Many creatures were lurking around.
This was the first time Han Sen had seen the bottomless pit. There was a mine at the foot of the mountain, and most of it had collapsed. There was a big hole in the ground, and it was at least a thousand meters wide.
Third Master and the others came to the big hole. Han Sen stood at the edge of the hole and looked down. It was getting narrower and darker, and it was like they were going down into the depths of hell. He couldn't see the bottom, and he didn't know what was down there.
Third Master stood next to the bottomless pit and looked down. He frowned, thinking of something.
"Third Master."
A voice came from not too far away. Xina had brought a Wolf with her. She looked at Han Sen, but only for a second.
"Miss Xina, I didn't expect to see you here. Are you interested in the bottomless pit, too?" Third Master squinted at Xina.
Xina looked cold, and she casually said, "I am interested. I didn't expect you to be interested, too. Did you discover anything?"
The Third Young Master shook his head slightly. "Our Black Gold Group had sent people to investigate before, and we suffered quite a loss. None of the people who came at night came back. We don't know if they're dead or alive. We still don't have a clue."
Xina said expressionlessly, "That's a pity."
After saying that, he ignored the Third Young Master and led Lone Wolf along the edge of the bottomless pit, seemingly observing the situation inside.
Han Sen tried to guess the relationship between Third Master and Xina. Third Master was a pure Kate, so he should have been lower than Xina.
But listening to their conversation, it seemed as if Third Master was being respectful to Xina. Xina, on the other hand, seemed to be wary of Third Master. She didn't treat him like a lesser race like she did to the other Kate.
As Han Sen was thinking, Bao 'er, who was perched on his shoulder, spoke. "Dad, there is something down there."
Bao 'er's head poked out from Han Sen's shoulder, and she looked down into the bottomless pit.
Hearing Bao 'er say that, Third Master and the others were shocked. Even Xina and Lone Wolf, who had walked far away, stopped.
Everyone looked down at the same time, only to see that it was so dark that they couldn't see the bottom. How could they see anything?
Han Sen patted Bao 'er's head and smiled. "There is a monster down there. Don't look, kid. If you do, the monster will eat you."
Third Master and the others thought Bao 'er was just a kid, and they didn't think a kid could see farther than they could. So, they didn't really care.
Han Sen tried to cover it up, but he was still confused. He didn't know what Bao 'er had seen.
He knew Bao 'er wasn't an ordinary kid, and she couldn't be seeing things. Han Sen just wanted to separate from Third Master and find a safe place to ask Bao' er what she had seen.
Third Master didn't want to leave, though. He stayed near the bottomless pit until it was evening. Then, he took Han Sen and Mister Tiger with him and left.
He didn't go back to Gran City, though. He went back to the RV, smiled at Han Sen, and said, "We have seen the bottomless pit. Now, let's hear the ghost cry."
Han Sen shrugged his shoulders and gave her some of the snacks he had been given.
Night fell, and it was so quiet that it was scary. Not even the sounds of birds or insects could be heard.
Sometimes, a wind would blow, and the leaves would rustle. It was like many small hands were clapping.
When it was midnight, they heard a crying sound coming from the bottomless pit. It sounded like a woman crying, but when they listened to it, they couldn't hear it clearly. It was very strange.
Third Master and Han Sen got out of the car and looked in the direction of the bottomless pit. There, they saw a purple light coming from the mountains. It was like a purple, luminous pearl was shining down below. The light was hazy, and it was hard to see clearly in the dark of the night.
When the crying sound came, the purple mist rose up like smoke. When it reached a certain height, it disappeared into the night sky. It was very ghostly.
Han Sen looked at the purple mist, and he could see the shape of a lotus. The purple mist was like the petals of a flower, and the purple mist was like the petals of a flower that was wilting.
"This is weird. I wonder what is down there in the bottomless pit. It doesn't look like anything ordinary," Han Sen thought to himself.
The Third Master stared at the purple mist, but he didn't dare venture into the bottomless pit in the middle of the night. When it was almost dawn, when the crying and the purple mist had disappeared, he took Han Sen and the others back to Gran City.

Lone Wolf quietly said, "Why don't we let those guys go down there first? They are useless people. They won't be able to get it."
"That's good," Xi Na said. "We have to be quick about this. We have to get it before the old guys come."
"I will spread the news," Lone Wolf said with a laugh. "Those greedy dogs won't let go of this opportunity."
