After entering the grapevine area, Han Sen had a much easier time dealing with them. The four Chaos were very good at fighting, and they were very experienced.
Their skills weren't very advanced, but they weren't weak, either. Han Sen had a chance of winning if he fought them one-on-one, but if he fought four of them at once, he'd lose.
He had to rely on Dongxuan and Sky Go's ability to predict, plan, and move. He had to fight them in the complicated grapevine area.
Han Sen went in the direction Yisha had gone, and she was going in the direction Mister Ji had gone. Han Sen didn't see her, though. If she wasn't dead, she should still be in the grapevine area.
Han Sen just wanted to know how she had managed to get rid of the Chaos.
The four Chaos chased after Han Sen. Han Sen kept dodging them, but they couldn't hurt him. They were deep in the grapevine.
In the beginning, Han Sen was able to see some of the tracks Yisha had left behind, but after a while, he couldn't see them anymore.
"What did that woman do?"
Han Sen frowned. He kept fighting the four Chaos, and he kept going, hoping to find some sort of clue.
The grapevines here were extremely thick. Many of the winding vines were as thick as a person's thigh. They were entangled together like poisonous snakes, covering the sky. Even the sunlight couldn't penetrate through the branches and leaves. It wasn't inferior to the intricate caves.
If Han Sen didn't know there were no xenogeneic creatures in Demon Grave, he wouldn't have dared go in there.
Han Sen thought he could use the complicated terrain to shake off the Chaos, but they seemed to be very familiar with the place. Han Sen kept going around and around, but he couldn't shake them off.
The Dongxuan Armor's ability to absorb energy was limited there. Perhaps it was because the fight between the two elites had broken the atmosphere, and the Baron Dongxuan Armor was suppressing it. Han Sen's energy was being drained quickly, and he was starting to feel tired.
Just as Han Sen was thinking about whether or not he should take a hostage, his eyes suddenly lit up. The grapevines in front of him seemed to have emptied out a large area. The sunlight was blinding, and it reflected the light of the grapevines. It seemed as if there was a source of water there.
Han Sen had been running around, and he didn't know how he had ended up there. He walked a few steps forward, and he saw a small lake surrounded by grapevines.
There was a stone statue in the middle of the lake. Han Sen was surprised to see Yisha there.
Yisha was sitting on the statue's shoulder. When she saw Han Sen emerge from the grapevine, she looked surprised.
Han Sen ran out of the grapevine, and when he got close to the lake, he heard the four Chaos scream in warning. They were telling him not to get close to the lake.
Han Sen didn't care, though. He ran towards the lake and leaped into the air. He flew towards the statue where Yisha was.
The statue was of a person. It looked like a human or a crystallizer. There were no wings, butterfly wings, or cat ears. It was just a statue of a person wearing clothes. It was three or four meters tall, and the lower part of its body was submerged in the lake.
After Han Sen leaped into the air, the four Chaos came to a stop near the lake. They didn't pursue him, and they didn't shoot at him again.
Han Sen landed on the statue's left shoulder, and Yisha, who was standing on the statue's right shoulder, suddenly pulled out a serrated knife. She swung it towards Han Sen.
Han Sen had seen many knife skills before, and the Falsified-Sky Sutra was scary. There were many elites who used knives in the sanctuaries, and many of them were grandmasters.
But Han Sen had never seen anyone with a knife-skill like Yisha's. Other people's knife-skills were either stabbing or slashing, overbearing, or fast and accurate.
Yisha's knife skills were strange, though. They looked like they were slashing and stabbing at the same time. They were like the fangs of a poisonous snake or a hungry wolf. They were very fast, and Han Sen couldn't predict the trajectory of her attacks.
Han Sen didn't have time to think, though. He used the power of the air to fly away like a bird. He wanted to dodge Yisha's knife.
But because his power was suppressed and he couldn't tell where she was going to strike, Han Sen was too slow to dodge. He managed to avoid being hit, but his arm was still wounded.
The serrated knife looked very scary, but Han Sen didn't know what it was made of. It cut through Han Sen's armor easily and left a deep gash in his flesh.
Fortunately, Han Sen's blood was crystallized. It was difficult to melt in Demon Grave, so he didn't bleed.
Her first strike did not land on Han Sen. Instead, she swung her serrated knife again. Each strike was faster than the last, and each strike was more poisonous than the last. It was like a venomous beast was baring its fangs and trying to bite Han Sen.
Han Sen was in the air, and he flew around like a bird. He put some distance between himself and Yisha and dodged all of her attacks.
Yisha stood atop the statue. Her knife couldn't reach Han Sen, but she didn't chase after him. She just wanted to force Han Sen away so that Han Sen wouldn't land on the statue.
But Yisha looked surprised. She was surprised that Han Sen had been able to dodge her attacks.
Han Sen was in the air, and a few thoughts flashed through his mind.
Yisha seemed to be stronger than he had expected. Her strikes were as good as his sword skills. Judging by her skills, she was definitely a grandmaster.
She let Han Sen and Mister Ji go, so it didn't seem as if she was using them as bait. Maybe she didn't want to stay in the oasis for the sake of the four Chaos. Maybe she wanted the oasis, the lake, and the statue.
Han Sen felt as if his power was running out. If he had enough power, Han Sen could fly like a bird. He wouldn't have to worry about falling.
But in Demon Grave, Han Sen's body was weakened. He couldn't fly for long, and he couldn't fly for long.
Han Sen looked down at the lake. The water was very clear, and he could see the bottom. The lake wasn't very big, but it was as clean as a mirror. When the sun shone on it, it hurt his eyes.
But Han Sen didn't see any creatures in the lake. There wasn't even a single plant. And the four Chaos didn't dare approach the lake. Han Sen had a very bad feeling about this.
Gritting his teeth, Han Sen circled in the air and headed for the statue again.
