Han Sen grabbed the scabbard and tried to pick it up. It was easy, though. But the scabbard was as still as a dead object, and there was nothing special about it.
Han Sen knew the scabbard wasn't dead. Although the monster knifemind was gone, the spirit of the scabbard was still there. It couldn't be dead.
Now that the scabbard was so still, there had to be a reason for it. Han Sen couldn't figure out why, though.
Han Sen put the scabbard away and looked at the statue again, but he couldn't find anything else.
The bubbles in the lake had stopped, and there was no sign of a knife. He was afraid the scabbard was the only thing that had ever been there.
"If there is a scabbard, there must be a knife.
What kind of saber is this saber that comes with this scabbard? "
Han Sen kept thinking, and then he suddenly had a thought. "Could it be that the statue had a whole set of knives and scabbards, and then someone pulled them out?"
Han Sen thought of the words "Super Geno Points" on the statue's neck.
If the words could have been written by someone who had pulled out the knife, then the person who had carved them was very likely to have done so.
But these were all just guesses. After Han Sen learned nothing else, he rested for a while. Then, he flew to the edge of the lake and walked over to the grapevines.
Han Sen had put away the Archangel Bone Arrow, so he wanted to pick some grapes to eat. He also wanted to see if there were any xenogeneic fruits.
There were many ordinary fruits on the grapevines, and Han Sen picked a few of them. They were big and red, and they tasted very good. He ate a few of them and felt much better.
Han Sen didn't see any Chaos, and when he reached the edge of the oasis, he didn't see Yisha. He didn't know where she had gone.
After thinking for a while, Han Sen returned to the oasis. He started looking for xenogeneic fruits among the grapevines.
Han Sen wanted to leave Demon's Grave as soon as possible. He didn't want to bump into Yisha, so he could take advantage of her.
But outside of Demon Grave, Yisha was half-deified. She could kill Han Sen with ease. So, Han Sen wanted to leave Demon Grave as soon as possible.
Han Sen planned to look around the oasis. If he could find a xenogeneic fruit, that would be great. If he couldn't find one, he'd have to leave Demon Grave. He couldn't let Yisha find him.
The biggest problem now was that even if he left Demon Grave before Yisha did, the Demons wouldn't let him go because he hadn't gone with Mister Ji.
Han Sen couldn't care so much. He could only walk out of here first before making any plans.
After walking around the vines for a while, Han Sen found a bunch of grapes that looked like purple agates. Han Sen didn't hesitate to pick the bunch of grapes and put them into his pocket.
Han Sen walked around the grapevine area and found a bunch of green grapes and a bunch of red grapes. But that was it. He didn't find anything else.
Han Sen didn't linger, though. He walked out of the grapevines and prepared to leave the oasis. But then, he saw a cloud of sand in the desert ahead of him.
Not long after, he saw many creatures heading toward the oasis. They were heading toward the exit of Demon Grave. Han Sen took a closer look and noticed that there were many different races. There were Demons, Rebate, and some that Han Sen didn't know the names of. There were a dozen of them. He was afraid that half of the races that had entered Demon Grave were here.
"Weird. Mister Ji said no other races would come here. Why are there so many of them?
Did Yisha find these people to deal with me after she escaped? "Han Sen frowned. He wanted to hide in the oasis for now.
It didn't matter if they were there to cause him trouble or not, but it didn't seem like a good thing.
But just as Han Sen was about to move, one of the higher races had very good eyesight.
He spotted Han Sen, and before he could enter the oasis, he shouted, "You there, kid! You better stand where you are and answer our questions.
If you do, we won't do anything to you.
Otherwise, don't blame us for what we'll do to you.
Unless you think you can escape from so many of us, we won't do you any harm."
"What do you want to ask?" Han Sen asked coldly, keeping his distance.
"Did you follow Luo Ji into Demon Grave?" a Demon asked, looking at Han Sen from afar.
"Yes." Han Sen nodded.
"Where is Luo Ji now?" the Demon prince and the others were overjoyed. A few of the higher races asked the same question.
Han Sen didn't hesitate. He told them about how he and Luo Ji encountered the Chaos, and how Luo Ji ran away. He didn't mention Yisha in the oasis, though.
"Okay. Take us to Luo Ji," the Demon prince said to Han Sen.
Han Sen frowned and said, "I only know that he went in that direction. I don't know where he went. Even if I did, I wouldn't be able to lead the way."
"I told you to lead the way, so just lead the way. Why are you talking so much crap?" The first higher race to notice Han Sen grunted in annoyance.
Han Sen ignored him and went back the way he had come.
Han Sen was afraid Yisha would catch him, so he didn't want to follow them to find Mister Ji.
In the outside world, any one of the higher races could be stronger than him. But in Demon Grave, everyone's bodies were suppressed. They were at the same level, so Han Sen didn't have to be afraid of them.
The bird-beaked man, seeing Han Sen ignore him, was furious. He screamed and pulled out a wooden stick. Then, he swung it at Han Sen.
Han Sen thought the stick looked familiar. It was similar to the wooden swords and bows the Chaos used. It must have been something from Demon Grave.
Han Sen ignored him and kept walking. His body flashed, and the high race man swung his stick like a mad dragon. But he was unable to touch Han Sen's clothes.
The other higher races were shocked, but they weren't going to let Han Sen go. They all drew their weapons.
Han Sen saw that they had all sorts of weapons, and they were all made of wood. They looked like the weapons of the Chaos.
"Lead the way to Luo Ji. If you find him, you'll be rewarded. Otherwise, the higher races here won't let you go." The Demon prince and the others didn't attack right away. Instead, they tried to tempt Han Sen.
Han Sen was curious as to why they were in such a rush to find Luo Ji, but he was afraid Yisha would stop him. So, he didn't answer. He just kept walking.
The higher races were furious. They waved their weapons and surrounded Han Sen. They wanted to kill him first.
Han Sen pulled out his scabbard. He used the scabbard as a sword. His body was like a shadow, and his swordmind was rising.
