"Stop looking. Go back to the shelter. No one is allowed to leave the shelter. If you do, you'll be executed," Han Sen said. The Barons returned to the shelter unwillingly.
"Deep Blue Viscount, can you tell what hurt him?" Han Sen looked at the hole in Wind Viscount's head, but he couldn't tell what it was.
Deep Blue Viscount looked strange, and he said, "It doesn't look like an external injury. It looks like it was blown up from within."
"Blown up from within?
What kind of power could do something like that? "Han Sen asked.
Deep Blue Viscount was silent for a moment, and he said, "There are many powers that can do something like this. Some can invade a person's body, and most can destroy it from the inside. It's not easy to guess."
Han Sen nodded and asked, "Are there any xenogeneic creatures like this near the base?"
Deep Blue Viscount shook his head and said, "We haven't been here for long, so no one dares to go too far. We've only hunted near the base, so we haven't seen many xenogeneics like this."
Han Sen didn't ask any more questions. He asked someone to bring him a flamethrower and burn Wind Viscount's body to ash.
A body like that couldn't be brought into the base. Who knew what might happen if they brought it into the base?
The body was reduced to ash, but there was one thing that hadn't been burned. It was a feather made of iron. It was one foot long, and it was black and heavy.
Han Sen asked someone to burn it with a flamethrower. The feather wasn't red, and it didn't give off any heat. It didn't look like an ordinary item.
Han Sen used a sealed container to seal the feather. Then, he asked the people who had touched Wind Viscount's body to do a body scan and disinfect their bodies. After making sure there was nothing wrong with the feather, he felt relieved.
But the next day, something happened in the base.
The four Barons who had touched Wind Viscount's body had a weird, egg-shaped mark on their foreheads. It was like a black birthmark.
They used the equipment in the base to scan his entire body, but they didn't find anything unusual. It was as if it was just an ordinary birthmark.
The four Barons were very scared. Wind Baron's death was too strange, and they were all in a strange state. How could they not be afraid?
Han Sen checked their bodies and found nothing out of the ordinary. So, he isolated the four of them and contacted the officials who were responsible for transporting the supplies. He asked them to send professional doctors and equipment the next time they came, so they could examine the four of them and see what was wrong with them.
It would take another two days for the cargo ship to reach Planet Eclipse. Han Sen had no choice but to wait and hope nothing else happened.
"Do any of you know where the Storm Viscount went before this?"
Han Sen was still investigating the cause of Wind Viscount's death. If he knew how he died, he might be able to find out what had happened to the four Barons.
A Baron told Han Sen that a few days ago, he had seen Wind Viscount go to the mountains in the north. He had entered the mountains from there.
But he didn't dare enter the mountains, so he didn't know where Wind Viscount had gone.
When Han Sen heard this, he frowned. The mountains in the north were where the Earl had gone, and they had never returned.
Han Sen had told them not to go hunting in the north, but the Nobles there knew it was dangerous. So, no one went there.
Wind Viscount had entered the mountains in the north, and he had died in front of the base's gate. Plus, the four Barons had black egg-shaped markings on their foreheads. It made Han Sen feel bad.
An Earl had brought a lot of Earl helpers, but they had all disappeared without a trace. If something had happened to them, the creatures in the base wouldn't have been able to handle it.
Han Sen didn't think he could wait any longer, so he contacted Yisha. He wanted her to take a look and see what was going on. He didn't want more trouble.
But what made Han Sen depressed was that Yisha had been practicing. He didn't know when she'd come out, so he couldn't get a hold of her.
Han Sen contacted Icebird Duke. Yisha had told him that if she wasn't there, he could always contact her.
Icebird Duke saw Han Sen's number on her phone. She didn't like what Han Sen was doing, but Yisha had told her to take care of Han Sen. So, she accepted the call.
"Icebird Duke, I have a problem here. I want to talk to Queen, but she's been practicing. Can you come?" Han Sen asked.
"The Rebate have a rule. Only the master of the planet can develop it. Outsiders are not allowed to interfere, and if they do, the planet will be taken back." Icebird Duke didn't like Han Sen's attitude of wanting to trouble Queen.
"If this was a normal situation, I wouldn't be looking for you. But this is a serious problem, and I can't fix it. I have to come to you," Han Sen said.
"If you think you can't fix it, you can give up on Planet Eclipse and come back. I can't help you with anything else."
Icebird Duke stopped Han Sen and said, "Okay, think about it. If you want to come back, let me know. I'll send an airship to pick you up."
After that, Icebird Duke hung up. She spoke to herself and said, "How can developing a planet be free of trouble? If you can't fix it, you shouldn't be doing it."
Han Sen frowned, but he couldn't do anything about it. He didn't know when Yisha would come out, and if she did, it'd be too late.
After thinking about it, Han Sen called another number. It was Black Steel's number.
Black Steel was a weird guy, but he was a reliable person.
On Planet Knife Grave, Han Sen asked him why he'd blocked the river of knives. He said Han Sen wanted to leave, but he didn't because of him. So, he wanted to give Han Sen a chance to leave. He owed Han Sen that much.
Han Sen didn't know what kind of brain Black Steel possessed, but he did know that he was a good person to trust.
Han Sen had asked him to keep his knifemind a secret, but no one knew he possessed it. Black Steel didn't seem to have said anything.
Han Sen couldn't find anyone to help him, so he had to ask Black Steel. If Black Steel couldn't help, he'd have to leave Planet Eclipse as soon as possible.
Han Sen didn't want to make a fuss, but it was better to be prepared for a problem he couldn't solve. He didn't want the women and children to die there.
"What is it?" Black Steel's voice was the same as it had been on Planet Knife Grave.
"I've run into some trouble, and I need your help." Han Sen told him what had happened.
Black Steel didn't speak, and he waited for Han Sen to finish. Then, he looked at the time and told Han Sen, "Don't leave the base. Watch the four Barons and don't interact with them. I'll be there in four and a half hours."
