When the Gana Holy Lady saw what Han Sen was holding, her face changed. She looked at Han Sen and asked, "Where did you get this?"
"Guna asked me to save you, but I wasn't strong enough. I had to wait until now," Han Sen said coldly.
The Gana Holy Lady looked at Han Sen and coldly said, "Don't lie to me. You must have captured Guna and taken the Gana Spirit Stone from her."
Han Sen was holding a jade tablet. It was very old, and there were no symbols on it. One side had the Gana language, and the other side had the Gana Goddess' face.
Before he came, Guna gave this jade tablet to Han Sen. She told him that he could use it to buy any Gana, and the Kao would agree.
Guna didn't mention the name of the Gana she wanted Han Sen to bring back. She just said it was her sister, and Han Sen would know when he saw it.
Guna was right, though. The Gana Holy Lady and Guna looked exactly the same. They were like twins.
Han Sen reached out his hand and touched the jade tablet. Suddenly, the Gana words and the Gana Goddess statue lit up.
"A Kao called Gia captured Guna and wanted to sell her.
Fortunately, I saved her when I was passing by.
I wanted to send her back, but the Gana had already fallen.
So, I had to put Guna on my ship.
She begged me to save you no matter what.
She also asked me to bring this jade tablet to the auction.
She said that if I used it, I could get you back from the Kao.
She taught me how to use it," Han Sen told a half-truth.
The Gana Holy Lady was still suspicious, but she seemed to believe him. She took the jade tablet from Han Sen and said, "It is great that Guna is fine. But it is too late now. Purgatory Heaven has been activated. None of us will survive."
"Is there really no way to survive?" Han Sen asked again.
The Gana holy lady looked at the gold Gana Goddess statue and shook her head with a wry smile. "If we were Kings, we could escape before Purgatory Heaven consumed the entire planet. We don't have the power to do that."
"Let's not talk about this for now. Guna and my subordinates are still on the ship. Is there a way to find them on the ship?" Han Sen was in a rush. He was worried that Little Dream and the others had already been consumed by Purgatory Heaven.
The Gana Holy Lady thought for a moment and said, "If Guna is here, it should be fine. But it won't last long. Where is your ship?"
"It's at the port in South City," Han Sen quickly said.
"Then let's give it a try. I don't know if I can get there safely, so I can only try my luck.
Follow me, and do not stray more than three steps from me. "After that, the Gana Holy Lady walked into the darkness.
Han Sen quickly called for Icebird Duke to follow the Gana Holy Lady out of the hall. They walked into the darkness.
The Gana Holy Lady's body was glowing. Wherever she went, the weird arms did not appear. Han Sen and Icebird Duke were right next to her, and they did not leave her side.
The Duke who was fighting Icebird Duke saw this, and so he followed. But when he was a few steps away from the Gana Holy Lady, the arms came out of the ground and tried to grab him.
The Duke tried to gather his power to cut off the arms, but it was useless. He flew up into the sky, and as soon as he did, a golden beam of light came from the clouds. It sucked him in, and he disappeared.
The other nobles who wanted to rush out stopped in their tracks when they saw this scene. No one dared to take half a step out of the hall.
Han Sen and Icebird Duke followed the Gana Holy Lady, but she was heavily injured. Although Han Sen had applied medicine to her wounds, she was still having trouble moving.
"Should I carry you?" Han Sen wanted to go faster, but he did not want to move.
The Gana Holy Lady shook her head and said, "I have the blood of the Gana Goddess. I can block Purgatory Heaven's power, but that's all I can do. I can't control Purgatory Heaven. Even with this blood, I cannot escape Purgatory Heaven. If my feet leave this place, we will fall into Purgatory."
Han Sen had no choice but to follow the Gana Holy Lady. The further they went, the darker the darkness became. The weaker the Gana Holy Lady's light became.
Many evil arms were writhing on the ground like snakes. Only when the Gana Holy Lady was two steps away from them would the arms return to the ground.
When the Gana Holy Lady's light dimmed, the area became smaller. Han Sen and Icebird Duke had to get closer to the Gana Holy Lady. They were almost touching her back.
Suddenly, there was a roar. The Gana Holy Lady's face changed. "Oh, no! Purgatory Heaven is activating faster than I thought. A Purgatory Beast has appeared."
Following the Gana holy lady's light, Han Sen saw a black shadow appear. That black shadow seemed to be one with the night. Only its eyes shone with a cold light.
When the black shadow was only three steps away from Han Sen, Han Sen was able to see what it looked like.
It was a two-headed black beast. It looked like a two-headed hellhound from hell. Its two heads were looking at Han Sen with a murderous expression.
The Gana Holy Lady bit her finger and swung it at the two-headed beast. A drop of blood landed on the two-headed beast, and it screamed in pain. Its body fell to the ground and turned into black smoke.
"Impressive! I did not know blood could be used like this," Han Sen complimented.
"These Purgatory Beasts have just been created. They are weak, and that is why my blood can suppress them.
Don't do anything. The Purgatory Beasts are not strong, but ordinary powers cannot touch them, "the Gana Holy Lady said.
While they were talking, another Purgatory Beast emerged from the darkness. This time, its target was Icebird Duke.
Icebird Duke grunted. Her cold air turned into an ice bird, and it flew towards the Two-Headed Purgatory Beast. But the powerful power went right through the beast's body. It was like the Two-Headed Purgatory Beast was an illusion. And then, the Two-Headed Purgatory Beast kept going for Icebird Duke.
The Gana Holy Lady waved her hand, and a drop of blood flew out. It landed on the Purgatory Beast, and it fell to the ground. It turned into black smoke and disappeared.
Icebird Duke looked glum. Her power was useless against the Purgatory Beasts. It was worse than the Gana Holy Lady's blood.
The three of them continued to walk forward, but they didn't walk far before their expressions changed. They saw Two-Headed Purgatory Beasts approaching them from the darkness. There were pairs of bone-chilling eyes everywhere, and they didn't know how many of them there were.
"It looks like we won't be able to see Guna before we die."
The Gana Holy Lady looked bitter. There were so many Purgatory Beasts. Even if she drained all her blood, it would not be enough. Plus, she couldn't drain her own blood.
