"Why are you following me?" Han Sen asked, looking at Hai 'er.
Hai 'er said, "I have given you all the benefits. Who else would I follow if not you?
There are only a few days left until Heaven opens, so I have to go with you. "
"I will go listen to Burning Lamp Alpha's speech," Han Sen said. "We can meet there."
"I don't have anywhere to go, anyway. I'll go with you to visit Knife Queen." Hai 'er had made up her mind to follow him.
Han Sen saw that Hai 'er wasn't going, so he allowed her to follow.
There were only a few days left until Burning Lamp Alpha's speech, but Han Sen waited for a long time. On the day of the speech, Yisha was nowhere to be seen.
"Weird. Why isn't Yisha here yet?
Did she go straight to the speech? "Han Sen frowned.
"Are you Knife Queen's student or not? Where is she?"
When the speech was about to start, Hai 'er looked at Han Sen with suspicion. She seemed to be suspicious of Han Sen's identity.
"If you don't believe me, then take the Empty Jade Tablet. We can go our separate ways." Han Sen was going to give the tablet back to Hai 'er.
Over the past few days, he had studied the text on the tablet. It was very mysterious, but the thing was that there was no beginning or end to it. It was just a geno art, and there was no way to practice it.
Han Sen asked around, and he learned that the Empty Jade Tablet was very famous. The one Hai 'er had given him might have been real.
But the Empty Jade Tablet was written on many other tablets. If it was just one tablet, the text would be limited. It was no wonder Hai 'er was so generous as to give it to him.
"No. You have already read it. What is the point of giving it back to me?" Hai 'er shook her head.
Han Sen ignored her and frowned.
When the lecture began, Yisha did not return. Without Yisha, Han Sen did not have the invitation card of the Buddha. He could not enter the temple and listen to the lectures. He could only stay in the plaza and listen to the lectures with the other creatures.
Burning Lamp Alpha was nowhere to be seen in the plaza, but he could hear the Buddha chanting coming from the temple.
Many creatures were listening to the Buddha's words. Han Sen listened to a part of it, and he thought it made sense. After listening to it, he felt as if his soul had been elevated.
But when he thought about it carefully, it was too empty. If he could really do what the scriptures said, then he would already be a saint. There was no need to listen to the scriptures and learn the Dao.
"This is all your fault. I am a student of the Pirate, and I should have been able to enter the temple to listen. Now, I have to sit here in the plaza with you." Hai 'er wasn't happy with what she had just heard.
Han Sen smiled and said, "You don't want to listen anyway. It doesn't matter where you listen."
"That's not the same. Listening to scriptures in the temple is a symbol of status.
Whether or not you can listen is one thing, and whether or not you can be there is another, "Hai 'er said.
Han Sen's mind was not focused on the scriptures. He was looking for Yisha, but he had yet to see her.
In the southwest of the Buddha Kingdom, there was a stone pavilion. An old Buddha was sitting in front of a stone table. His hair was motionless, and he looked as if he was sleeping.
On the table, there was a game.
Yisha was sitting across from the old Buddha. She looked at the game on the table and held a flag. She looked as if she was in deep thought.
The stone pavilion was very normal, but it gave people the feeling that it was separate from the world. It was like the stone pavilion did not belong to this world.
Time went by, and Yisha moved as if she was petrified. She did not put down the chess piece.
Han Sen was unable to see what Burning Lamp Alpha looked like. The lecture lasted for a day and a night. When it was over, many creatures thanked Burning Lamp Alpha for his teachings. The creatures in the plaza only bowed in the direction of the Buddha Hall.
When the lecture was over, the door to the Heaven opened. Many creatures went to the door, and there was a scary number of them.
Han Sen and Hai 'er were in the midst of all the creatures. They looked in the direction of the Heaven Gate.
There were eight gates in the Buddhist City. Only three of them were open while the other five were closed. The gate leading to the Pure Land of Bliss was one of them. It was the westernmost gate.
The west gate was open, but when you looked out of it, you could see a Buddha light. It was different from the scenery outside the city.
Han Sen did not see many creatures outside the city, either. After going through the west gate, they were not outside the city.
Han Sen still did not see Yisha. He looked around and followed the group through the west gate.
After going through the west gate, they did not appear outside the Buddha Kingdom. They found themselves in the middle of a desert.
The desert was endless, and there was nothing to be seen. Not even cacti could be seen. Aside from the yellow sand, there was also the burning sun in the sky.
After entering the desert, Han Sen heard something. It was like someone was whispering in his ear. It was like someone was chanting, but he did not know where it was coming from.
In the midst of all the noise, the voice was not loud, but it was very clear. It was like it was speaking in his head.
Following the rhythm of the voice, Han Sen felt like his body wanted to move. He frowned.
"Did you hear that?" Han Sen asked Hai 'er.
"Of course I heard it. Don't you know the Heaven Gate's Heaven Gate?"
Hai 'er rolled her eyes at Han Sen. If she hadn't asked around, she wouldn't have believed Han Sen was Knife Queen's student. How could he not know anything?
"What is the Heaven Gate's Heaven Gate?" Han Sen listened, but he could not tell where the sound was coming from.
Hai 'er kept walking, and she explained, "The Heaven Gate's Heaven Gate is everywhere. At first, you don't think much of it, but the longer you listen to it, the more it affects you. If you don't leave the Heaven Gate's Heaven Gate and reach the other side, your body will dance with the music. You won't be able to stop, and you'll die."
Han Sen frowned and said, "If it is that dangerous, and there aren't more than ten people who can reach the other side, why are so many of them here? Aren't they afraid of dying?"
"Just do what you can. Return before you lose control and leave through the gate. There won't be any danger."
Hai 'er looked around and did not see Speechless. She asked, "Where do you meet up with Speechless?"
"Didn't I tell you? I have nothing to do with Speechless."
Han Sen looked at the creatures around him and asked, "How do I know when to turn back and when to continue walking?"
"Well, that depends on you. Most people are afraid. If they don't see hope, they won't go any further.
The more confident they are, the more likely they are to get into trouble. "
Hai 'er rolled her eyes and went on to say, "But you will be fine. Speechless will protect you. You will reach the other side."
