"Why is it gone?" Han Sen was confused.
The Sun Gold Raven was just a baby, but it was a deified creature in the geno universe. Its deified genes were so strong that not even Han Sen could absorb it. Even if the creatures of the Alliance took it, they wouldn't be able to.
Plus, this was Han Sen's territory. There were many scary creatures living in this storage area. It wouldn't be difficult for those creatures to conquer the entire Alliance. Who would dare to steal something from there?
Han Sen didn't think it was possible that the Sun Gold Raven's body had been stolen, but it was so big. Han Sen had put it there, so he couldn't have remembered it wrong.
Ever since Han Sen received the Sun Gold Raven's body, he couldn't refine it. So, he kept it in the storage. He hadn't paid much attention to it in the past two years. He didn't even know when it had gone missing.
Han Sen used his Dongxuan Aura to scan the area. He couldn't find any of the Sun Gold Raven's particles. Its body was too solid, so there shouldn't have been any.
Fortunately, there was a surveillance camera in the storage. Just as Han Sen was going to check the footage, Bao 'er's eyes suddenly brightened. She jumped off of Han Sen's shoulder and ran to the corner of the storage.
Knowing that Bao 'er had discovered something, Han Sen quickly followed her. Bao' er ran to a pile of wooden boxes in the corner of the storage. She was lying in front of one of the boxes, looking inside.
Han Sen remembered that the boxes contained a bottle of wine that Ji Yanran had bought. It was a special product from a certain planet. Because of the lack of raw materials, the production of the wine had been discontinued.
Ji Yanran had bought some for her collection. Because they didn't drink much of it, they hadn't touched it. Now, the boxes outside had been opened. Clearly, someone had been there.
And it wasn't just one box that had been opened. Most of the boxes had been opened.
"Was it really stolen?" Han Sen walked over to Bao 'er and peered into the wooden box.
Seeing that the black wine jug, which was as tall as a person, had been opened, Han Sen couldn't help but stare blankly for a moment.
There was not a single drop of wine inside, but at the bottom of the jar was an egg the size of a fist. The shell of the egg was like red jade, and it looked very beautiful.
Han Sen used his Dongxuan Aura to scan the egg, and he felt a familiar presence. It was the presence of the little red bird that used to follow Bao'er around.
Han Sen thought for a while and realized that he hadn't seen it in the past two years. There were too many things to do, and the little red bird was always with Bao 'er, so Han Sen didn't pay much attention to it.
He took the egg out of the wine jar and carefully observed it for a while. It was indeed the aura of the little red bird.
"Strange, why is it here, and why did it turn into an egg?" Han Sen was puzzled and looked at Bao 'er beside him.
Bao 'er shook her head. She didn't know what was going on, either.
The little red bird's history was strange. When Han Sen first saw it, it was in the Nirvana Pool of the Phoenix's Nirvana Land. At the time, it was just a little goldfish. When it left the water, it became a little red bird. It was a very strange creature.
Because the little red bird hadn't been able to fight for a long time, Han Sen didn't pay much attention to it. He just let Bao 'er keep it as a pet.
Now, the little red bird had run into the storage and turned into an egg inside the wine jar. That made Han Sen very confused.
Han Sen took the little red bird's egg to the surveillance room. Then, he pulled up the footage of the storage for the past three years. He played it at high speed to see what had happened in the storage over the past three years.
After watching it for a while, Han Sen was shocked. Around two years ago, not long after he brought the Sun Metal body back, the little red bird went into the storage and started to peck at the Sun Gold Crow's body.
The Sun Gold Crow's body, which Han Sen couldn't refine, was eaten by the little red bird.
But it could only peck a little at a time. The little red bird was like a woodpecker. After pecking for a year, it ate the Sun Gold Crow's body completely.
In the past year or so, the little red bird had been constantly changing because of the Sun Raven's corpse. In the end, its entire body had become like a red crystal, and it was emitting a demonic red flame.
After the little red bird ate the Sun Gold Crow's body, it ran to the wooden box. It opened the lid with its beak and pecked through the lid of the wine jar. Then, it went inside.
When the little red bird entered the wine, it turned into a red goldfish. Although the red fire was gone, the wine inside the jar quickly evaporated.
It only took a few minutes for a large jar of wine to be gone.
The little red bird flew out of the wine jars and drilled into the jars one by one. It almost destroyed all of the hidden wine.
After the little red bird went into the wine jar where the egg was found, it didn't come out again. Han Sen went to the storage today and took the egg out of the wine jar.
"Holy sh * t! What is this thing? It can eat the Sun Gold Crow to evolve?" Han Sen looked at the egg in his hand and was shocked.
Even he couldn't refine that thing. It was hard to imagine how the little red bird had managed to do it.
"Whatever. I can't refine it, so I'll just eat it. I hope it will be useful after it hatches." Han Sen put the red egg back.
He didn't know what it would take for it to hatch, but if it chose the place, it shouldn't be a problem.
Han Sen went home and rested for a few days. He didn't want to teleport to Metal World. He was worried about Yuya and the others, but there was nothing he could do. He could only hope that Yuya and the others were safe after escaping the big metal city.
Han Sen held Han Ling 'er while Bao' er sat next to him. The three of them watched a holographic cartoon and ate snacks. Han Ling 'er held a milk bottle and drank milk as she watched. She looked like Bao' er when she was young.
When Ji Yanran came back from the company, she saw Han Sen and Bao 'er sleeping on the sofa. Han Ling' er was sleeping in Han Sen's arms. She was still chewing on her pacifier. Snacks and toys were scattered everywhere.
"Really? What kind of father are you?"
Ji Yanran complained, but she smiled. She didn't wake them up. Ji Yanran covered them with blankets and cleaned up the mess.
Four days later, Han Sen went to Metal Eater's storage. He wanted to bring Metal Eater with him. If he encountered the Metal Beast again, he wanted to see if Metal Eater could help him negotiate.
Just in case, Han Sen summoned his dragon wings and dragon wings. If something went wrong, he could teleport back to the sanctuary with Metal Eater. After all, staying alive was the most important thing.
