After preparing everything, Han Sen brought Metal Eater and Bao 'er into the Metal World.
After the teleportation, Han Sen's first reaction wasn't to look around. Instead, he grabbed Bao 'er and Metal Eater and teleported away.
Fortunately, what he was worried about didn't happen. The Metal Beast didn't attack him immediately.
But when Han Sen looked around, he felt depressed. Although the worst-case scenario hadn't happened, his luck wasn't very good.
That was because the Metal Beast did not return to its cave. It was sleeping on top of a hill not too far away from where Han Sen had expected it to be.
Han Sen's teleportation had alerted the Metal Beast. It got up and looked at Han Sen.
"F * ck! If I knew this was going to happen, I wouldn't have teleported away. Maybe I could've left this place quietly." Han Sen felt depressed.
When the Metal Beast saw Han Sen, it stood up. When it saw Metal Eater, its eyes widened.
Han Sen's Metal Eater looked at the Metal Beast with curiosity. The black and white Metal Beasts stared at each other.
"It works!" Han Sen was happy.
The white Metal Beast looked at Metal Eater for a while, and then it barked at him. It seemed to be trying to say something, but Han Sen couldn't understand it. He didn't know what it meant, but it didn't seem to mean any harm.
Metal Eater broke free from Han Sen's grip and landed on the ground. It barked at the white Metal Beast a few times.
The white Metal Beast barked a few more times, and then it ran over to Metal Eater.
Han Sen's heart tightened. He wanted to teleport Metal Eater away, but Metal Eater didn't run. Instead, it walked over to the white Metal Beast.
Han Sen knew that although Metal Eater wasn't very intelligent, it was still very sensitive to danger. It wouldn't be stupid enough to risk its life, so he resisted the urge to teleport it away. Instead, he stood aside and watched.
The two Metal Beasts, one black and one white, quickly came to a stop. They sized each other up. The Metal Eater was much bigger than the White Metal Beast, but it was also much weaker. This made Han Sen very worried.
Weng!
The black and white Metal Beasts opened their shields at the same time. They looked similar, but the white Metal Beast's shield was transparent. The Metal Beast's shield, on the other hand, was black because it had practiced Consume.
The white Metal Beast circled around Metal Eater, sniffing it with its nose.
"Is this a secret signal?"
Han Sen was very worried. He was afraid that the white Metal Beast would realize that Metal Eater wasn't of the same race as it was. Or, it might think that Metal Eater was too weak.
The white Metal Beast circled around Metal Eater a few times, and then it suddenly jumped up. Han Sen was so scared that his heart almost stopped. He wanted to teleport to save Metal Eater, but the white Metal Beast didn't jump at him. Instead, it ran back to the hole it had crawled out of.
Metal Eater didn't move, though. He just watched the white Metal Beast disappear into the hole.
Han Sen was in a cold sweat. If the white Metal Beast had wanted to eat Metal Eater, he didn't know if he could teleport in time to save him.
"Okay … Okay … Okay … But what is going on here?
Did it succeed?
Or do we need to continue the negotiations? "Han Sen's heart had calmed down a lot.
While Han Sen was thinking, the white Metal Beast climbed out of the hole again. It wriggled its fat body and ran over to Metal Eater.
Han Sen saw that the white Metal Beast was holding a two-foot-long metal branch in its mouth. There were a few metal fruits on the branch.
The white Metal Beast ran over to Metal Eater and placed the metal branch in front of him. When Metal Eater didn't move, it rubbed its mouth against Metal Eater.
Metal Eater lowered its head, extended its tongue, and swallowed one of the fruits.
When the white Metal Beast saw Metal Eater eat the metal fruit, it happily circled Metal Eater. It even stood next to Metal Eater and rubbed its body against Metal Eater's body. It looked very shy and happy.
Metal Eater lowered its head and ate a few more metal fruits. Then, the light around its body shone brightly. Metal Eater secreted a mysterious substance that formed a geno armor around its body. It melted and seeped into its body.
"Is it going to evolve into a Baron xenogeneic?" Han Sen was both shocked and happy.
He was happy that the metal fruit the white Metal Beast had given him was good stuff, but he was also shocked that after Metal Eater became a Baron, it wouldn't be able to return to the sanctuaries. If he tried to take it back, the sanctuaries would reject him.
"But a metal planet like this should suit him better, right?
He wouldn't have to stay in the warehouse all by himself, "Han Sen thought to himself.
When Metal Eater evolved into a Baron, the white Metal Beast watched. It looked at Han Sen and Bao'er with caution, as if they were thieves.
"You're an outsider, okay?" Han Sen didn't know if he should laugh or cry.
Metal Eater's evolution went smoothly. Its body became darker and smaller, but the metallic texture of its body became heavier.
Seeing Metal Eater evolve, the white Metal Beast happily licked Metal Eater's face. It looked like it was trying to show some kindness.
Han Sen thought something was wrong. If he wasn't sure that Metal Eater was a male, he would have thought the white Metal Beast was pursuing a mate.
"No, Metal Eater is a male. If the white Metal Beast is a female, it can pursue a mate.
But if that's the case, the white Metal Beast is so strong. It must have lived for a very long time. If it wants to pursue my Metal Eater, it'd be like an old cow eating young grass. "Han Sen looked at the two Metal Beasts strangely.
It was a very harmonious and loving scene, but now, when Han Sen looked at it again, it looked very strange.
Metal Eater was quiet, and it wasn't as lively as the white Metal Beast. The white Metal Beast called out a few times before Metal Eater responded.
But even so, the white Metal Beast seemed to be very happy. It went back to its hole and brought Metal Fruits for Metal Eater to eat.
