Miss Mirror and two of the Four Kings of Spring Rain, Red Cloud and Night Wind, were in the middle of a discussion when they suddenly heard a voice coming from Han Sen's room.
"I'm an idiot!"
The three people's faces looked strange, because they could tell that the voice belonged to Fallen Leaf. But they couldn't believe it was Fallen Leaf's voice.
Aside from Miss Mirror and the Four Kings of Spring Rain, Falling Leaf was the most powerful person in Spring Rain. She was known for her ruthlessness. She was the type of person who would attack anyone she disagreed with. How could she have said something like that?
"Was I hallucinating?" Night Wind asked, looking at Red Cloud and Miss Mirror with uncertainty.
"That's all for today. You guys can go home."
Miss Mirror frowned. She stood up and went to Han Sen's room. She wanted to see what Han Sen was up to.
Falling Leaf was a woman. Even if you killed her, you wouldn't be able to force her to say something like that.
If Han Sen had used some trick to force Falling Leaf, Miss Mirror wouldn't sit by and do nothing. She had sent Falling Leaf to watch Han Sen, but she wasn't going to let Falling Leaf suffer.
"What brings you here?" Han Sen opened the door and saw Miss Mirror standing outside. He smiled.
"What did you do to Falling Leaf?" Miss Mirror asked with a frown.
"What can I do to her?
I didn't say much to her. She was playing with Bao 'er. If you don't believe me, you can see for yourself. "Han Sen stepped aside.
Miss Mirror didn't believe Han Sen. She walked into the yard and into the living room. She saw Falling Leaf playing cards with Bao 'er.
"Miss Mirror." Falling Leaf stood up and bowed.
"Are you okay?" Miss Mirror saw the note on Falling Leaf's face. She didn't know if she should laugh or cry.
"I'm fine."
Falling Leaf blushed, but she didn't remove the note. She was a killer, and a killer's reputation was the most important thing. If she had lost, she couldn't break the rules.
"I'm glad you're okay." After that, Miss Mirror looked at Han Sen and said, "Come with me."
Han Sen shrugged. He followed Miss Mirror out the door and into the yard.
"You know Falling Leaf is one of my people. You should know how to treat her." Miss Mirror stood in the yard, looking at Han Sen as she spoke.
Han Sen smiled bitterly. "I really didn't do anything to her, and I don't dare to do anything to her. She was just playing games with Bao'er. If you don't believe me, you can ask her yourself."
"It's best that you didn't. I was just reminding you not to do something that would make us all unhappy," Miss Mirror said coldly.
"Understood." Han Sen shrugged.
"Give me your hand," Miss Mirror said, looking at the ring on Han Sen's finger. She hesitated.
Han Sen wasn't bad, but his level was too low. Miss Mirror didn't think Han Sen would be able to help her in any way. But since she was already there, she might as well learn more about Han Sen.
The state of mind was a portrayal of a person's inner thoughts. Through the state of mind, one could roughly judge a person's temperament, and the accuracy rate was quite high.
"What are you doing?" Han Sen extended his right hand in front of Miss Mirror.
"Are you playing dumb?" Miss Mirror stared at Han Sen.
"Of course not. Explain yourself." Han Sen smiled and pulled back his right hand. He extended his left hand, which had the Mirror Spirit Eye Ring on it.
When Miss Mirror saw the Mirror Spirit Eye Ring, her eyes flickered. When she saw the ring, it reminded her of the man she had once met. He had been a very talented, gentle man.
Even now, when she thought of that man, her heart still fluttered.
Miss Mirror had never regretted marrying a man like that. She thought it was one of the most precious experiences of her life. She just hated the fact that she hadn't been able to stay with that man forever.
Miss Mirror thought of that gentle man, who could make any woman's heart flutter, and then looked at the owner of the ring. She couldn't help but sigh.
Han Sen was good, but compared to that man, Miss Mirror didn't think he was nearly as good.
Miss Mirror reached out her hand and let her own Mirror Spirit Eye Ring come closer to Han Sen's ring.
Miss Mirror wasn't the prettiest. She couldn't be compared to Gu Qingcheng, who was the most beautiful woman in the world. She looked more like a lady.
But Miss Mirror's hands were so beautiful that no one could find fault with them. Every finger was long and slender, and they were as white and soft as jade. Her nails were crystal clear, and they glowed.
Every movement of her hands was a combination of beauty and elegance. Han Sen had seen many beautiful women, but he had never seen a pair of hands like this before.
The closer Miss Mirror's hand came to Han Sen's, the more the Mirror Spirit Eye Ring moved. The emerald surface of the ring started to shimmer.
When the two eye-like gemstones touched, Han Sen and Miss Mirror's bodies shook. They felt as if the Mirror Spirit Eye Ring was releasing a strange power into their bodies. It traveled up their arms and into their brains.
Han Sen's body shook. He felt as if he was in a world of rain. The spring rain was falling, and it was like the tears of God.
But when the tears fell, they nourished everything. Every tree, flower, grass, and chestnut was being nourished by the rain. Underneath the sadness, there was an endless life force and hope.
Han Sen had learned forty-eight water minds in Destiny's Tower. Of course, the spring rain mind was one of them. Miss Mirror's mind was spring rain, but the focus wasn't on the word "rain."
Han Sen felt the emotions and changes of that mind, and he couldn't help but admire the woman. Her mind had reached perfection. She was one of the best deifieds.
"No wonder her organization is called Spring Rain. This mind can only be felt, but it can't be explained. It is like a person. Miss Mirror is a very complicated person. She cannot be judged by common standards." Han Sen felt the spring rain mind, and he learned a lot from it.
Miss Mirror's body shook, too. She felt a mind enter her mind.
That mind wasn't very strong, and it wasn't earth-shattering. At first glance, it wasn't shocking.
Miss Mirror didn't think much of Han Sen's mind. She just wanted to learn more about him through his mind. But when that mind spread, Miss Mirror looked shocked.
From what Miss Mirror could see, Han Sen's mind was like a budding flower. It was hard to be surprised, but when she tried to understand it, she peeled away layer after layer of petals. She couldn't peel away the last layer. She couldn't see the stamen, and that made Miss Mirror very uncomfortable.
