Han Sen and the others all had strange mushrooms growing on their heads. They were like a part of their bodies. If the mushrooms were damaged, their brains would be damaged, too.
Everyone was at a loss. No one could think of a way to get rid of the mushrooms on their heads. They looked at each other, unsure of what to do.
Fortunately, the mushrooms were growing on their heads, so nothing strange happened.
"Why aren't there any mushrooms on Little Captain and Brother Bird's heads? Is there a secret?" The pirates looked at Bao 'er and the little red bird with hope.
Han Sen coldly said, "Their bodies are special. They won't be parasitized. It doesn't work on us."
After Han Sen said that, the pirates lost all hope. They looked at the mushrooms on their heads and sighed.
"Meow!" While everyone was feeling depressed, they suddenly heard a familiar meow from outside.
Far away in the mushroom forest, the white tiger was looking at them with a cocky expression. It had a very human-like smile on its face. One of its paws was covering its mouth, and its eyes were smiling like crescent moons.
Han Sen had never seen a tiger smile like that before. He knew the mushrooms on their heads were the work of the white tiger.
The little red bird angrily chased after it, but when the little red bird left, the white tiger disappeared into the ground. The little red bird's phoenix flames were unable to damage the ground. It was unknown what the ground was made of.
Han Sen called the little red bird back. He looked at the rocks on the ground. The rocks there were very strange. They shone with a metallic light, but they also felt like jade. He couldn't tell what they were made of.
"You guys go and pick some mushrooms. See if they are edible," Han Sen said to the pirates.
"Captain, there are mushrooms on our heads. If we eat them, they won't grow on our bodies," the pirates said with a sad face.
"Why are you talking so much crap? Hurry up and go." Han Sen stared at them.
The pirates reluctantly moved away. They were afraid more mushrooms would take over them, and they were also afraid the white tiger would kill them. They walked half a step, but they still couldn't get out of the white whale.
The little red bird spat out a mouthful of flames behind them, scaring them into running away.
The pirates trembled as they walked through the mushroom forest. They didn't dare to go too far, so they picked up some mushrooms nearby. Han Sen had a pirate in charge of cooking cook a pot of mushrooms.
After the mushrooms were fried, the pirates didn't dare to eat them. Looking at the white and tender fried mushrooms in the bowl, they looked at each other. No one dared to eat.
"What are you waiting for? Hurry up and eat," Han Sen said with a smile as he looked at the pirates.
"Captain … we are not hungry … really not hungry …" The pirates thought to themselves, "Why don't you eat?"
"We don't know how long we'll be trapped here. With our food reserves, we won't be able to hold on for long, so you'll have to eat these mushrooms in the future. Even if you don't eat them now, you'll have to eat them in the future.
But don't worry, these are just ordinary mushrooms. They won't kill you, "Han Sen said with a smile.
They definitely wouldn't be able to get out for a while. Han Sen was planning for the long term.
"Captain, we aren't hungry yet … Can we eat when we are?" a pirate whispered.
"What do you think?" Han Sen smiled at the pirate who had just spoken.
The pirates knew they had to eat. Eating the mushrooms could cause problems, but that was only a possibility. If they didn't eat the mushrooms, Han Sen would immediately deal with them.
The pirates gritted their teeth and picked up the fried mushroom slices. They had tragic expressions on their faces. They closed their eyes and stuffed the mushroom slices into their mouths.
At first, they looked uncomfortable, but after chewing a few mouthfuls, their eyes widened.
"Captain, this thing is delicious. It's very fresh." After a while, a pirate shouted. After they ate the mushroom, nothing bad happened. No other parasitic mushrooms appeared on their bodies. There was only one mushroom on the top of their heads.
"Eat slowly. There's no need to rush. I'm afraid you'll have to eat these mushrooms for a long time in the future," Han Sen said coldly.
He knew the mushrooms weren't poisonous. If he had, he wouldn't have allowed the pirates to eat them.
The culprit behind the mushrooms on their heads wasn't the mushrooms on the ground. It was the white tiger's mushroom bombs. The spores that came out of the bombs were the real culprit behind the mushrooms. That was the white tiger's power, but he didn't know what kind of damage the mushrooms could cause.
The white tiger would occasionally appear in the distance and roar at Han Sen, but because it was afraid of the little red bird, it didn't dare approach the white whale.
Han Sen walked out of the white whale and went to check out the old battleship the white tiger had come from. The battleship had been around for a long time, and the insides were rotting. Some of the wood had mushrooms growing out of it.
There wasn't a single living creature in the battleship, but there was some armor. The battleship was badly damaged, and judging by the marks on it, it must have been the white tiger's doing.
Han Sen went to the control room of the battleship. Fortunately, the memory drives weren't completely broken. Han Sen brought the drives back to the white whale and tried to play them.
But soon, Han Sen was disappointed. The disks looked fine, but maybe it was because they had been there for a long time, or maybe they had been struck by some sort of electric shock. The white whale couldn't fix them, either.
Han Sen tried all the drives, but none of them worked.
Han Sen pulled out a crystal card from an old communicator that was about to break. The white whale read the contents of the card.
Han Sen was happy. He looked at the white whale's screen and saw that the crystal card had thirty video files. Aside from that, there was nothing else.
The video files all had serial numbers, from 1 to 37. This video file was connected without any missing parts.
Han Sen opened the first video file and watched it alone in his room. It didn't matter if the content was good or bad, he didn't want too many people to know about it. So, he decided to watch it alone.
"Kitty, kitty, come to mommy."
When the video opened, a woman's voice sounded in Han Sen's ears. In the video, a white kitten was walking on the ground. It looked as if it had just been born.
The video was taken in the control room of the old battleship.
The woman who had spoken was using the communicator to record the white kitten, but Han Sen thought the woman's voice sounded familiar. It was as if he had heard it somewhere before.
