Chapter 16

of 12 hours of online play per day in 10

days I could potentially activate

another 1,300 devices if this Snowball

Effect continues it won't be long before

connected devices become widespread

domestically however achieving that

Milestone necessitates someone stepping

forward as the apparent representative

of the Tower of ceiling as the chief

planner of the game and the Mastermind

behind the scenes chuni cannot possibly

take on that role after all he is the

ultimate boss of this game chapter N9

the first battle in game before the

Tower of ceiling Fong and his nine

companions summoned the gravekeeper and

learned about the costs associated with

land acquisition too their astonishment

the game actually has a currency system

isn't it reasonable for Monsters to drop

currency upon defeat I was left

speechless copper coins If copper coins

were tangible could we not melt them

down to forge copper swords amazing

thought is anyone interested in teaming

up to farm monsters I am equipped with

wooden armor and can serve as the tank

take me along I wield my wooden stick

with great finesse I can throw stones

with Precision capable of drawing aggro

and providing ranged support as the new

players had yet to log in the 10 beta

testers quickly reached a consensus and

formed a team over the course of 5 days

they produced charcoal and crafted

rudimentary bricks even manufacturing

several weapons they sharpen stones and

affix them to the ends of wooden sticks

using resilient plants thereby creating

simple Spears some even fashioned wooden

armor by binding wooden planks and

sticks with plant fibers Fong and his

companions each Dawn some form of this

armor however they generally did not

overdo it as the moisture content in the

wooden planks and sticks was quite High

making excessive binding cumbersome and

hindering movement conversely if they

allowed the moisture to dry the planks

would become brittle compromising their

defensive capabilities after

considerable deliberation Fong and his

group proposed a strategy to fully arm

the front line while the rear line would

remain lightly equipped thus the most

primitive tank was born however merely

having a tank would not suffice surely

there must be ranged players to kite the

monster

some took advantage of the game

mechanics stockpiling small stones in

their backpacks and employing a stone

throwing tactic however Stones do have

weight and carrying too many hampers the

players Mobility consequently the range

players found themselves in a rather

awkward position only managing to draw

aggro and deliver a few ranged attacks

without sustained damage output thus the

most basic ADC was also established next

came the Warriors who served as the

primary damage dealers in the current

version their weapon choices were

diverse some opted for Hefty stones for

lethal blows though this was challenging

to execute especially given the lengthy

windup time that heavily relied on

teammates for cover most Warriors

however preferred using Spears or wooden

sticks as they offered longer reach and

faster attack speeds which synergized

well with the tanks capabilities these

insights were gleaned from their

experimentation as the fully equipped 10

member team assembled Fong raised his

hand decisively declaring for our first

Team Battle we seek not Glory but simply

to ensure that at least one teammate

survives for every monster slain upon

hearing this the remaining nine raised

their weapons High exclaiming to

exchange one life for a monster is no

loss two is a profit let us do this for

the sake of our future home they set off

20 minutes later Tower of ceiling level

one Hold the Line front row don't let it

through Warriors intercept another

monster is incoming rear line don't

attract any addition monsters do you

think throwing stones is that easy you
